They are kinda bad, just try them out XD You have a win in every 5 or so game if you are lucky (at least on the europian server lol). They are heavily based on 1-2 cards and really bad combos which don't really work out against meta decks

Arugal is not needed. I ran today my own version without it (better no doubt) and climbed from bronze 10 (rarely play wild) to diamond 10. I run curve only up to 3 mana and than right away conjurer targets: 4x giants, 2x creeper and 2x gnoll. Astromancer is too slow probably. No lunas (definitely too slow). Every minion besides broomstick and armor vendor generates sth - that way you very rapidly gather handsize with some tempo. I'm not sure about ziliax though - on it's own it is terrible but not that rarely you get mechs after conj which is nuts. Problem is though there aren't that many games where you need it on next turn once you got giants. Mainly hunters. Works well for me. I lost once to priest and several times to heavy smorc. Suprisingly I didn't lose yet to any quest. I believe I can climb legend with it.

He should run some 3 drops that discover spells or bankers. Books probably not best, but they are nostalgic. Every card that isn't conjurers target puts sth in your hand, so you can play sth for tempo without losing handsize for giants, gnolls and bakers.

You guys know how when a minion gets buffed its stats are green even when in hand? Cards like mountain giant do that with their cost also. So many problems in the past could have been solved if only they would have the cost be kept. Like if you play a gnoll for 1 mana and hover over it it shows the green 1 mana cost and it would then evolve into a 2 mana minion. I know it's not really a problem right now, but it was a big issue when stuff like conjurers was in standard. Always wondered why they didn't change that mechanic.
