But she evidently rented a "not so fancy, not Will Smith Style " kinda RV, since even my old 39 Foot Holiday Rambler has a heated basement that houses not only storage but the tanks for gas, diesel, fresh water and the grey and black tanks... no freezing as long as the heating works..

The Marvelous Ms. Maisel is an absolutely outstanding show in it's own right but Rachel Brosnahan is the cherry on top. It's made by the Palladinos, the same people that made The Gilmore Girls, and it shows. The cast is amazing, the dialogue is incredible and the humor some of the best i've seen in recent years. Highly, highly recommended!

She saying she was walking around in the RV while it was moving? That's dangerous and illegal. Don't ever do things while the vehicle is in motion. Stay seated, stay buckled! Emptying the black tank daily? I go two weeks (need to today), the smell it horrid. lol! She had it good. My drain hose has a clear corner piece, so it's a lot more of a view. It's there so that you know when the tank and hose is cleaned out. You don't want to put your hose away if there's still shite in the hose...that'll create a Schitt's Creek in your storage compartments. Toilet paper is a problem in an RV when you don't want to use a buttload of water. I have a stick, with one end duct taped for a handle, to push TP down the hole. Over the summer, I let the friends I was isolating with use my RV's toilet because they couldn't move their trailers frequently enough, an RV shakes when someone wipes....

LOL! Definitely not allowed, but definitely done anyway. I recently dumped my tanks into a pit toilet at an Observation Point at a National Monument (Carrizo Plains, California). No one was around for miles and miles. But technically illegal. Very glad the hose didn't fall out of the toilet and splatter everywhere!
