Here are the parts that I especially like: • The moment when Quackity took of Dreams mask, but held it in front of Dreams face for a good second to cover it. • When he threw the mask on the floor, braking it a little. • Dreams face is always a +1 for me. • The insanity that Dream shows by smiling while being threatened (kinda fits with his mask and probably his mind) and him being scared of even a though of Quackity killing him. • The flashbacks/similarities between this situation and Tommy's and Dream's "bonding time". • Quackity bringing up Tommy's trauma Dream caused and other things as a reason to torture him. • Quackity's disgust and hate for Dream shown by his expressions and his sadistic thoughts. • The moment Quackity attacks Dream. • BLOOD • Dream begging and crying. Conclusion: You did amazing as always.

So cool… U can just see how insane Dream and Quackity are becoming. Just like a lot of the people on the server : Dream, from the literal puppet master of the SMP to a mere prisoner, unable to do anything. And Quackity, from a once comical character to an abused and failing right hand man for governments, to finally a tyrant of his own kind… The dynamic between those two felt perfectly well illustrated here

You can still see, faintly, that Dream still has his strings on people. He can't pull them as hard as he used to, but they're still there. Even with this minute amount of control, he's still losing it. The mere _thought_ of losing control completely is making him completely mad, and that Quackity is also becoming so insane that Dream's tricks and manipulations don't work on him anymore is just accelerating both of their falls. When, not if, Dream escapes Pandora's Vault, I bet he'll manage to stay calm on the outside, but he's gonna be *way* off the deep end and long past the point of no return.

Dream says he'll never forget, and he won't, he won't forget what Quackity did to him. Dream never lost control, he's to smart for that, and everything but I he torture was a part of his plan. Quackity will have to watch his back and Dream won't lose his strings, at least not yet, and he's holding them tighter then he ever was before.

This is very well-expressed. Too accurate for comfort, actually. The scariest thing is how accurate the body language is to actual abuse victims. Aside from his last-ditch effort to get the weapon (at the beginning), Dream has learned that resistance doesn't work. There is no defense open to a person in this situation other than begging, making yourself less of a target, or trying to appease the other person. He tries to use Sam as a protector but even that is taken away. Dream cowers and tries to put distance between them, but he doesn't try to push Quackity away or fight because it would anger him further. And he doesn't try to get up once Quackity has him on the ground because it's probably safer to stay where he's put. In abusive situations like this, the most dangerous thing you can do is anger the abuser. That's why the deafening silence after he shouts is terrifying: Dream made a big mistake there and he knows it.

For example how Dream!c and Quackity!c are depicted to be both maniacal (from their crazy facial expressions and past actions) yet Quackity!c seems to be more off the bend even though he's not the one in prison. To make it simple, Quackity!c just acts more crazy than Dream!c and it's the icing on top the cake 👏

UGH SO GOOD! I've always found this scene emotion-provoking and intriguing, making me feel a certain way I can't explain, as for a long time, Dream was the scariest threat there was on the server, basically being the Boogeyman, the evil enemy, the destroyer, the calm and collected mastermind. The puppetmaster. And now here he is, begging and pleading for his life when he never spared others, being tortured constantly, losing his mind, the new puppetmaster taking his place and casting him aside like a ragdoll- like just another puppet to be toyed with. Even if you know that they're acting, it's so well done that you forget they're playing parts. You captured it so wonderfully, with the flashbacks, the facial expressions, the body langauge, the *words,* and how they match up the the actions. Even the linework can represent the situation, as (whether intentional or not, I've been to your streams, I love the way you work and I know the work that goes into it, and btw this is a compliment) it is so well done and held together and looks simple but important, but simultaneously looks chaotic and messy, I don't know how to describe it, it's amazing. It's like how this situation seems simple (Quackity torturing Dream), but is is filled with so much more detail and backstory that it seems to be fighting itself, like the whole scenario is just barely being held together by scotch tape. Wrong of you? Of course not. This is a horrifying scenario for anyone to find themselves in. And I would argue that it was Dream's willingness to go _This person is the problem. Anything I can throw at him is justified, and I'm even going to enjoy doing so_ that really makes him a monster in the first place. You just seem like an empathetic person to me, and there's nothing wrong with that. There will be times in your life when, in order to be able to stand up for yourself or others, you may have to do and say things that make you uncomfortable or worried about hurting people -- but this is _not_ one of those times. This is unjustifiable behavior, and there is nothing wrong with feeling sympathy for someone in this situation.

Again with the dream expressions they are absolutely amazing quackitys as well showing how much he means buissness he knows he's in a position of power and he needs dream to realize that yet dream dosent until quackity actually has a sword to his throat dream always has a grin plastered on his face basically in place of the mask he usually wears it shows how while he does sound legitimately desperate and fearful his face doesn't show that I'm not saying that's an error on your part I'm saying it shows how much dream thinks he's going to possibly manage to get out of that prison I mean yes he didn't expect technoblade to break him out when he did but he always has that scheming look like no matter what goes wrong he'll always have a way to bounce back and get strong again the only time that Grinn is gone is when his life is actually in danger any other time it's the same old Grinn just a really nice touch throughout your drawing of dream

I seriously think c!Dream was faking being scared here (not that torture isn't still bad). When Quackity told him to write a letter to Techno, he immediately forgot about being "scared" and instead questioned him about why and what Quackity was planning. Real fear doesn't turn off and on at your own convenience like that.

@@Rachel-og8jy THIS, dream's character is writted as a Pshyco , phycos don't feel any strong emotiond other than control people an get what they want, he Made it clear when he said he didnt care about anyone ir anything, people like that are jsut un able to feel sympathy. The only way they get like this is when THEY are the ones been wronged, thats why he now sound scared of quackity. I bet My ass that he only sounded worried when techno got trapped with him no because he was concerd for techno, he only care cause tech was his way out of prision, if to get out of the prision was leaving techno to rot in there, he would've done it IN A HEART BEAT

Technically, what you’re describing is a sociopath. C!Dream is not a psychopath. Not even close. They would never beg for their lives. Plus, they tend to be smarter. They’ll befriend you if they can. They won’t automatically resort to manipulation. Why do that with someone who isn’t your enemy, after all? It’s just likely to backfire. A psychopath would know better. No, C!Dream is a sociopath. They may look the same, but they’re very different.

I want to cry now. This actually reminds me of the last time my mum was screaming at me about my school grades. She wouldn’t stop, so I finally caved and told her what she wanted to hear to make her stop. I love that you’ve created a dark, traumatic atmosphere around this scene. I’ve literally rewatched this at least six times, and I’m not planning on stopping. I adore this channel, so keep up the amazing work!
