Back in the 60’s we had a place in McGregor Iowa and we’d go to Starks In Praire Du Chien Wis. They had a large display in the front window that included a stuffed Polar Bear. They had the traditional hunting and fishing equipment but were also a Honda dealership. They had every Honda in every color lined up by size. I still love late 60’s and 70’s Hondas. My dad got be a 1975 XR75 from Starks which I still have. When I go to Bass Pro it takes me back to Starks. Wish they had Honda’s. Mr. Morris is a cool cat

I love Bass Pro Shops. They are truly amazing and definitely an experience. And you're right, I spend days in there and be just as excited and happy as a kid on Christmas morning. It is amazing and this precious man is a genius for having such a vision and brought it to fruition. What BLESSING it is to just go look but I always have to buy something or multiple things..LOL 😂

I lived in the Memphis area when the pyramid was empty and I always wanted someone to make it into a water park with hotel rooms inside. Johnny made it even better and it has an observation deck on the outside of the top of the pyramid which is very cool. They have bowling alleys there too.

Absolutely. Bass Pro is great and their commitment to sponsoring nascar is definitely admirable. However, Scheels is just better. They generally have a much larger firearm selection. Although if a person is more into fishing I could see how Bass Pro would be preferred.
