Why say sorry for not putting out more drag truck videos? If anyone is making comments about that, I highly doubt they have deep pockets and endless time. You are doing a lot to run a repair shop, being a family man and making/editing KZbin videos.

Hey LT, I admire your attention to detail and your patient meticulous methodology towards your projects, AND on top of that you are running a business that requires that it be profitable. You've got a full plate! So I am not disappointed in the time it's taking to get your projects done. Plus you've got a wife and kids to take care of too. You Are Blessed, LT, you are doing the best you can, and the work you're getting done on your truck is Top Notch!

Have you considered making the exhaust out of titanium or inconel? Would be nuts hearing a turbo big block thru an inconel system 🫠

FYI on two things, it's "Queens Gambit", and your slotted brake rotors are on backwards. They should be swapped side to side to be correct. Not trying to be a know it all, because I certainly don't. I just happen to have just watched that movie a couple of weeks ago, and last week I found that my rotors on my truck are on backwards as well. Difference is, you have the energy to get right on them, whereas it will take me months to get around to fix mine. Great videos, always amazing to see how much you get accomplished while still running a business

I can truly appreciate the time you took to round the corners of those shock mounts after you trimmed the bottoms off. And tig welding the washers too. Seemingly minor things, but nice touches IMO. I like to take the time to remove sharp edges on all of my stuff. It makes it nicer, and arguably less hazardous to work on/service.

What are the rear torsion bars "rated" at? When I first saw them I thought about using a 84-87 civics' front 17mm torsion bar "cut down" and welded to rear frame so they would do the same basic thing. And not have to run a sway bar. (Have lots of old cars and parts!)

LT, curious what transfer case you plan on using on this truck. I've got a 2017 Denali & it has complete selectability from 2H, Auto, 4H, & 4L. Wondering if that case would be strong enough to throw as much HP at it as you are making with your package?

You are 100% correct, and I fully acknowledge that I should lose as much weight as possible to make the truck faster, but I’m determined to make it as fast as possible while keeping some of those creature comforts. It doesn’t make sense for sure, but that’s what I thrive on.
