They are simply THE BEST. That was Austin Brown, and he was singing to his then ladyfriend, now wife, Amberly who Austin is crazy in love with. He wrote a trilogy to their love last year which is pretty awesome. The 1st song is "Give me a sign"

Welcome to the fabulous world of Home Free! Austin did a fabulous job of this classic song. Loved Percy Sledge's version, but this was taken to another level. I think it is also better than Michael Bolton's version. And remember this was done during quarantine, so the guys weren't even together. The backing harmonies are great, along with Tim's bass. And Adam's vocal percussion is outstanding. Drummers have often commented on just how realistic his sound is. This is why these guys are my favorite a cappella group. They have a huge catalogue of songs. They do awesome covers & a lot of original songs too.

Home Free is an a cappella group that won the Sing Off the season after Pentatonix won. They are all great singers. This was done during Covid so I thought the use of tvs was clever. Austin (lead here) and Adam (beatboxer) killed it. Good one…you should really try headphones! 😄

Just subscribed with hopes for more Home Free reactions. They are the best! Tim, the bass, has a 5+ octave range. They will make you dance , cry and fall out of your seat laughing. They do a huge variety of music and each have a very impressive vocal range. They have great personalities and sense of humor and are genuinely good people. Best a cappella group out there. They have a very deep and varied catalog. Everything from pop to country to rock to sacred - and even a little opera from the 2 tenors. I would suggest their original Playing With Fire or their recent cover of Stand By Me next. But, really, you can't go wrong with anything on their playlist.

You've found my favorite a cappella band! Even since they won the TV competition, "The Sing Off", I've been a HF addict. They have, in my opinion, the best bass and the best beatboxer in the vocal band universe. Austin, taking the lead here, has also taken the lead with this version of "When a Man...". I've always love the late Percy Sledge's original & Austin does it justice. The writer of the song had been though a bad break-up and wrote "I gave you everything I had". Austin's (now wife) Amberly was in the studio (that's who he's looking at) and he sings "I'll give you everything I've got". A subtle but significant lyric change.

Home Free was formed in 2000 by the beatboxer Adam Rupp, and his brother Chris while they were still in college long before Pentatonix started. Rob, the bearded guy with glasses joined in 2008, Tim the base joined in 2011, Austin, the lead singer joined in 2012, and Chance replaced Chris in 2016 when Chris went solo. They are known as the only country A Cappella vocal band, and for having the richest harmonies on the planet.
