He died in 1996 and I will be 75 years old in September and can't get out in the woods any more due to my health so I was very happy to find your channel and remember what fun it is to be out there either using your metal detector or looking for Native American artifacts.We looked for them also. My step brother n I were in NM caving near our house. We got in about 15ft when we heard an eerie screech much deeper in. We left immediately but searched the surrounding area. We found lots of deer sized bones and scat! That's when we left and never returned. After several days of pondering, we figured we found a mountain lion den. Scared us both for weeks

I assume you know you could be gambling on picking up stuff on the Tennessee river. I know I live close to Chickamauga and I love hunting but found out it was illegal. I hunted for years on private property but scared to hunt on the Tennessee. I see people do it all the time but I would be the one they would make a example out of.

Carry a little army shovel with ya. Also go to your local printing office and buy you a few USGS maps. They’ll show you were every old structure used to be and where springs and caves are too. Be sure to get the key to the map as well. Try to get them waterproofed if you can. I’m gonna sift through the creeks and rivers of Saltville Virginia this spring. It’s where two Civil War battles were fought. Can hardly wait. 🇺🇸

@byrdsdoityourselfgarage73303 жыл бұрын
Some are from upstream, washed in, but most are from hunting in the area. Most fowl, and deer and other animals hang out by the water, and especially easy to shoot when they go to take a drink. If the arrow doesn't hit its target, it ends up either floating away, or the head comes off, and is lost for hundreds, or thousands of years until mr. Byrd comes along :) might be a cousin of mine? Idk
