Jimbo said it: "I'd rather go to an antique junkyard than a car show." Totally agree!

Jolene is a true talent in front of a camera, but perhaps more so behind it. As she walks into the barn, she delicately places the mic on Jim, and then later relocates it while maintaining her silence as she records the goings on-no complaints of the cold, no suggestions concerning the content-only nods of agreement and low whispers are offered when solicited by Chad. Well done Jolene and thank you! Ps. It must be a treat to film Jim as he is a treasure for sure. ✌🏻❤️🔧

Just noticed Jimbo has the hubcaps perfectly spaced hanging on the wall. Shows us that at one level he's just as much a perfectionist in addition to being a philosopher. Jolene for a future video an idea could be for you to record Jimbo giving his mom a ride in the '57 Oldsmobile. It would be interesting to see the two together! I imagine she's as awesomely as precious a person as he is. Could be like a 'Driving Miss Daisy' vibe. It would be fun!

For me, that 57 Oldsmobile brings back a few cherished memories. In 1967, my first car was a 57 Olds 4 dr Sedan with the same blue and white color scheme. (I was 16) I called the paint "Robin Egg Shell Blue". When I bought it, I got it for half the price they were asking, at the lot, because the car lot salesman had to unload it to make room for something else. I paid $160.00. I loved how the blue and white paint contrasted the winter snow. To this day, I still believe the 57 Oldsmobile was the high lite of all the 50's cars.

You’re buddy Clint from Utah. I really Like you’re friendship with Jim. It’s easy to see how much you genuinely care for Jim and how Jim cares for you and JOLENNE! Well done helping a friend with a need. It’s just something you don’t find to often anymore. People like you Putting others before thier own work. While I’ve done this for many I haven’t found any to ever return the full friendship. I must be doing it wrong I guess. Lol thanks I enjoyed the fender work Jim. I understand not fixing it into a show car. As you get older I understand the need to just get things the way you want it. Energy and time and pain all factor in. Good job Jim

Nothing better than waking up in the morning and drinking coffee on the back patio and watching Chad and Jimbo. The interaction these two have is priceless. Thanks for a wonderful morning. Every time Chad said something about how cold it was in the shop, Jim just shrugged it off with no reply. The antique junk yard versus a car show, I agree 100%. Friends like Jim are worth a million dollars a foot!

Cool cool cool... Im not sure about the foam as a seal as it would hold water and cause rust issues..just my opinion, a nice peice of soft ruber or similar to alow the warter better drainage and runoff... But you're doing a great job Jim and with the added hand from Chad and Jolene at times is a great friendship you all have for the passion of cars. Keep up the fantastic work, thats going to be one cool car... ✌😎👍

Hey Chad and Jolene, I just have a suggestion for your exhaust. I bought a one pound spool of stainless wire for my mig to weld stainless from time to time. I just swap it out for the steel wire when I need it. I still use the mig gas which technically isn’t the most ideal but it still does an acceptable job, won’t rust and there’s no need to paint it. I usually just hit it quick with a stripper wheel to polish it up. Thought you’d like to know. Take care. 🇨🇦👍

Another good video. Chad, Jolene, showing how patient, kind they are, they are all there to help each other. What a lovely couple they make working together, the sky is the limit for the two of them, it would be wonderful if more couples had what they have going for them loving what they do. Thanks for sharing !!!.

Chad, with minor changes to your MIG setup you can weld up those holes in the stainless. Teflon liner for the gun, DCEP, ar/o2 gas, stainless wire, then you can treat it like steel. The liners are usually less than $20, a small tank of gas is fairly inexpensive, as is the wire. Then you don't have to worry about corrosion. Argon/CO2 can cause corrosion from the carbon uptake.

A friend of mine worked at a Buick dealership and had to deal with squeaks and rattles. They had a peoblem car that had a rattle going down the road. Several techs teied to diagnose it with days of tests drives. Turns out it was a 3/4" nut tied to a piece wire on the iside of the right fender. It had a note attached that read, " bet you had a hell of a time finding this" True story...😂

Hi Chad & Jolene, Jimbo is really doing good work on his car. Imagine if he was using automotive paint and doing the whole car however, he is doing it his way which is what he should do. hey Jimbo just another thought if you did use expanding foam from a can it may pay to spray it into a plastic bag so it can take the shape of the void it is filling and wont stick to anything that way you can still take parts off and on with no problem
