Good job Jolene you are becoming a great welder! Thanks you two for making a complicated job look easy. Good to see Jim ac always!

When you and Jim was talking about cast iron and cast steel that pre heating in necessary, you and Jim are correct, plus you and Jim wear right about cast iron needs bronze weld, but you can arc or mig weld cast iron as long as you keep the cast iron pre heated, that's to hot to touch but not red enough to glow red. Cast steel pre heat then weld, but you do have longer time to weld, the other thing with cast steel is you can use a tig welder to weld thing's to the cast steel with pre heating the cast steel as if you are welding with a mig or stick/arc welding. Seeing Jolene welding make me feel proud to be a welder, because I have always looked upon being a welder as unisex job. Plus women who are afraid to become a welder can have someone to look up to and give them strength to follow their dreams, as Jolene is proof of it.
