As a 56 year old who’s new to bouldering and recovering from shoulder problems (right frozen shoulder, left rotator cuff from years of cycling/mtb) this is great to see. Go, Ginger, you’ve got this! And congratulations on raising such an awesome daughter too!

I’m glad you like it! I hope your shoulders recover and that you start feeling better soon :)

I'm in! My name is Jess ☺ I have a fear of heights, but I've been climbing for about 1.5 months (sprained my ankles a few weeks ago from an unexpected fall after sending a V2) and obsessed with climbing. Although, not a total beginner, I'll attempt to climb my first V3 and V4 in 6 weeks along with Ginger! I've been watching your videos since the beginning, thanks for the helpful tips, Sara!

@5:50, Right in the feels, Sarah. Dammit. Bringing back the memories. It’s been longer for me, so send your mom a hug from me in Va. and tell her to keep climbing and enjoy all the little victories as they come.

Wonderful to see. I'm learning more from your videos than I have from indifferent staff at my local climbing gym. You're a great coach and you have a lovely mom 👍

Over fifty here, too. Been climbing consistently for seven months with a two month break due to injury coming off a boulder. V3 is extremely ambitious for six weeks! Go Ginger!

Is it normal to feel discomfort on the shoulder joints when starting to climb? I have been climbing with my arms extended, as much as possible, but then the shoulder joints suffer.
@SendEdition Жыл бұрын
If you are feeling sore- then yes. If you are feeling pain, you may have tendon injuries. I’d recommend warming up your shoulder joints with slow arm circles. If this doesn’t help alleviate that pain, consider seeing a doctor :( I hope you feel better soon

How is she doing???
@SendEdition3 ай бұрын
Thanks for checking! From the outside, she seems completely normal. For us that are close to her and from her perspective, she is still recovering. But she is significantly stronger and more coordinated (like a lot).

A link to the shoes *is* in paragraph below, $;27.. "Shoes" is plural, but it's the link, singular, that' you need to find. There are no shoes in your computer.. If you can't identify the subject of your sentence, you don't know what you're talking about.
@RossPotts Жыл бұрын
The same could be said of your typing. It’s @4:27, not $:27. Clean the Cheetos off your fingers before you start trolling next time. Who cares about vernacular? She got her point across.
