I've been thinking about leaving my job and doing something like this. I cant imagine the hours on the road, though. Lots of good info in this video. Thank you. That windshield looks hard to see out of when you're driving through the storms. I ceramic coat mine, and even in the pouring rain, I don use the wipers. The water just breaks into small beads and blows off the glass. Much nicer of a drive.

Everyone should know that this is exceedingly rare. There are so many people driving expedite cargo vans now that it's much more likely to average 70 cents per mile unless you work directly for a broker. There is no fuel supplement. Progressive insurance keeps raising it's rates. It's easy to spend two or three days trying to win a load unless you take a trash rate. If you are thinking about doing this, don't. I've been doing it for six years and the past two years have been the worst, with drivers taking rates that are completely stupid, but it gets them moved.
