I was a police officer and ran drug interdiction and found and saw all kinds of hidden compartments. I can tell you how we found dope in a tire if you’d like
@Shawn-rq4py4 жыл бұрын
charlie lewis alright. Stopped an F-150 on the interstate for driving too slow and backing up traffic. The 2 guys were extremely nervous and sweating buckets. It was winter and about 40 outside. During my roadside investigation these guys couldn’t get their stories straight for anything. So I called for backup and just so happened to be our K9 officer that came. We separated the men and the stories just got more unbelievable by the minute. I told the driver that the last time someone was that nervous they had a lot of dope on them. He said “they’re ain’t no dope IN that TRUCK nowhere you can search it all you want and you’ll never find it”. “Never find it”. Not you won’t find any or nothing’s in there etc but he said “you’ll never find it”. So he just told me it was in there I just had to find. So I got him to sign consent to search paperwork and we began. I searched and searched and found one marijuana cigarette above the visor. He laughed at me and asked if I was going to arrest him for it. I said nope. I’m running drug interdiction and I couldn’t care less about one joint. I asked where’s the big stuff I know it’s here. He looked at the other guy and laughed and said well if you KNOW it’s there then find it pig...oink oink! So my partner got the dog and it hit on every tire on the walk around. I got down and could actually smell marijuana. It was really pungent. I got my baton and was going to bounce it off the tire and it was hard as a rock. You could tell that all 4 tires had been removed multiple times because of all the marks on the wheels. I asked the guy about his tire situation. Why they smelt like that, why all the marks on the wheel etc. For once he had no answer and started sweating again but this time they were standing outside and not in the warmer cab. He finally said there MIGHT be something inside the tires. I removed the valve stem and it pushed out what little air there was and it was a really strong odor of marijuana. Finally got the to admit it was inside so we had the truck impounded where we ended up finding back to back bricks of marijuana duct taped around the center of the wheel. And it was only an inch or so from touching the tire. That’s why they were driving so slow. To this day roughly 15 years later I still have no idea how they got it all in there. All 5 tires were stuffed w it.
@Shawn-rq4py4 жыл бұрын
charlie lewis I started in the late 90s. I worked up through the ranks and I ended my career as a Sgt in criminal investigations. I had even been on the SWAT team. I loved the job very much. I worked out 2x a day 6 days a week, ran roughly 6 miles every day and was in the best shape of my life. I was mentally aware of the job, I attended hundreds of hours of continued education. We are only required to have 12 hours of continued education a year but I always had at least 80 hours per year. So I did everything I could to be the best officer I could be. Not only for me but for the people. They deserve officers that know the laws and are mentally and physically fit for the job. You have to be all in. Now with that said my career ended because a man didn’t want be arrested and to go back to prison. He had been paroled and within a day already committed several felonies. He was to be arrested and parole revoked and serve the rest of his prison sentence. I made contact w him and the fight was on. When the dust settled he went back to prison and I ended up w a broken back, fractured vertebrae in my neck and a separated shoulder. It was rough. That’s been 10 years now I think and 7 back surgeries plus 4 other surgeries. So if you decide to become an officer don’t do it halfway or just the minimum to get by. Learn all you can about the job. Good Luck to ya

Apple Frenzy not really. I’ve personally seen marijuana in tires mounted on the vehicle. One guy welded a steel compartment around the wheel (inside the tire) and had marijuana in all 4 and the spare. Then I’ve seen bricks of marijuana duck taped around the wheel (inside the tire) several inches thick. Depending on the size of tire. I’ve even seen dope hidden in the drive shaft of a truck.
