What a sweet gift your kids hair is allowed to be messy at that age. There’s plenty of years where we have to do things by the books let it go mom♥️ i’ve followed you for a while. I love your videos. You’re so genuine honest and sweet. I know it’s hard to receive gifts. But it keeps us all alive to give makes us feel good. Your daughter is like mini me. She looks just like you how cute I remember my kid at that age now they’re 15 and I’m not very cool anymore. I love quilts. also my grandma made them all for all of us when we were younger and they’re meant to be used. I hope you would sleep with it. They last forever and you can always use it over the top of another blanket or sheet. I assume the best blessing for Debbie would be that you actually use the blanket that she made you. They’re not meant to be hung up. They’re meant to be loved and used.🫶🫶🫶♥️♥️

I hope you don’t take that offensive. I just often kind of a hoarder and hold onto and cherish certain things but if they’re not used the point, I gotta keep reminding myself that when you got stuff in drawers or closets like you wanna pass down, but I often think when I pass away, everyone is just gonna throw all my crap away, but it’s not crap. I guess I always like stuff because stuff didn’t change like humans can hurt you by your stuff you can have. I kept all my cards growing up birthday cards, Christmas cards you name it my sister’s laugh at me that I still have certain for like my childhood stuffed animals. At least the ones I could keep before my parents threw them out because there was four of us four girls and we had a lot of crap. lol so I kept as much as I could, that didn’t disappear when I was at schoolyou

My Mom took fabric from her maternity smocks, our clothes she made, and the maternity clothes she made for me. I love this quilt beyond anything else she made me. Memories flood me whenever I get into bed. Helps me sleep. Congrats on that life changing gift.

I use to do patchwork quilts in the past when my eyesight was better and hand stitched them, but you truly have amazing quilts from Debbie, it takes ages sew in so many irregular pieces of fabric and to quilt it too. Oh my oh my!! Quilts are made with love! I have a beauty that my (now deceased) sister made for me and last night as I was fixing my bed, I had a blanket over it, I have several blankets as I shut the heat off in my room. Well...when I ran my hand across the quilt, I began to cry...I miss my sister ❤️...She made a special label and taught me so much about crafting, we quilted together, tole painted, crocheted. My quilt is dated!
