Ok guys, Little Tikes also makes a kiddie pool if you decide they can’t fit in the turtles. They are made tough with double walls like the turtles, but bigger and they’re blue. They had a round one 30 some years ago that I bought for my kids and my daughter is now using it for her kids! I think they made a slightly bigger one, rectangular, too. Then when the 2 lovebirds can be back together, they could both maybe fit in there. They have drain plugs, too.

I use lids from old garbage cans to cover my compost piles. the sandbox lids will work if you want to put them to use. It traps heat in and helps it break down faster (I stir them up every couple weeks and uncover them when it rains sometimes too.)

I had a pet pig named Gilbert and I found out after going through many swimming pools that all he needed was a mud hole and I found out that the mud is good on their skin to help keep the sun off of them so just give the turtle pulls to the birdies and fill up a mud hole for the pigs just be kind suggestion from a loyal viewer

If you worry about the turtle pools breaking you can always use animal safe silicone and some thick flexible rubber mat or flooring, just in case! If they do get a punctured you can always use them as enrichment for the chickens. Some random ideas. I love watching your animals having fun!

A heavy duty pond liner would work as well. You would probably be able to find one that is rectangle or oblong as well. I would think a pond liner is tougher than a plastic kiddie pool since it is made to sit outside all year long.

😂😂😂 since Loretta and Gus are so big you might want to consider digging a shallow hole, line it with sand then add a pond liner and make them a pig size pool... just remember they might actually like one with a deep end so they can actually swim... 😂😂😂
