In 1953 I sat in the Theatre Royal, London and was transfixed by this georgeous song echoing through the silent theatre - a magical experience and re-created by Andre Rieu , a man who I adore for bringing me music that I played on a violin, and is dismissed these days in favour of endless POP music.
