Hey Beardo. I have been doing some investigating into the Old Catholic Church for the past year or so. I'm not defending or attacking anyone here, just passing along what I have learned from reading and talking with some people who are knowledgeable in this area and that I trust. I apologize for the length but there is a lot of material I have gone through that needs to be mentioned. Here is some background that might help: Bishop Long is the Arch Bishop with the Old Catholic Church which is not the same as the Roman Catholic church. The Old Catholics split from the Roman church in the late 1800s in Europe over the issue of papal infallibility (Old Catholics holding that the pope is a man therefore is fallible). The OC sees itself as still supporting everything of the RC church but is "not in commmunion" with the them (because they were excommunicated at the time of the split). When they split they associated with the Episcopal Church in Britain (I think, not sure). After the split there were dozens of congregations throughout Europe and it spread to the US and Canada. Among the differences between the two groups is that in the OC priests are allowed to get married. There are still differences such as papal infallibility. The Vatican and the OC are in talks about reconciliation but it doesn't seem to be going very fast. The North American Old Catholic Church (NAOCC, I believe I got the name correct) seems to be primarily located in the Midwest of the United States around Illinois (don't hold me to this). Lately, there seems to be a lot of renaming of the church which has made tracking the group difficult. There is a group now in Florida and this is the congregation that Bishop Long is with. I cannot tell if it broke off from the main congregation in the US Midwest or if this is an outreach. The last time I looked the Arch Bishop of the NAOCC was Kristina Rank. There are other groups world wide and they are autonomous. Each group is self contained, there is no centralized authority except within each group. I believe one of the largest groups is located in the Phillipines. As near as I can tell the OC follows the same proticol regarding exorcisms as the RC. They require obwervational notes, interviews, a medical examination, psychological examination, etc. (I need to clarify that for centuriesf the RC said there were no such things as ghosts. Any kind of paranormal activity was caused by demons. It has only been lately (the last 10 years perhaps) that the category of "wandering" or "restless" ghost has been used to denote spirits that had been alive but are driven to act after death due to unfinished business.) If everything points to a spiritual cause, a secular paranormal investigation team goes in to conduct an investigation, document what they find, and provide that information to the church. This is where I believe the Fourman brothers come into the picture. In one of your earlier reaction videos you observed they seem religiously trained. Josh would be considered a lay assistant who has been trained and is authorized to do house blessings, person blessings, etc but not exorcisms. I have not seen Josh or his brothers act outside of their remit. I cannot speak to the concept of where the OC priests are trained in demonology or performing exorcisms. By the way, the reason these groups demand the demon to identify themselves by name is to aid in the exorcism. It is the belief that as the demon will only identify its true name as it tires of the fight (this is more of a gee whiz factoid). Wikipedia (yeah, I know) has some good articles on these groups and there external references along with the bibliographies are good sources of information. The channel Ready to Harvest is excellent and seems to engage in serious level research of the different religious groups. Undoubtedly I have made mistakes in some of the details but I have tried to give a broad picture of the OC that is accurate and is useful. Hope this helps.

@@Nalla762 The more I dig the more confusing it gets. Somewhere there is a website showing Long with a congregation in Florida but I cannot find it now. I also found that he is/was associated with the United States Old Catholic Church which is different than with the North American OCC. I believe it was with the USOCC that he was in Florida. I just found a website under his own name as Bishop Long Ministries with a mailing address in Kentucky. This is really weird since Catholics don't go around naming ministries after themselves. I don't know if this announcing that he has broken with the OCC or if this is a side hustle, or whatever. It is very unclear. I can find no address for the USOCC. The main church NAOCC has nothing listed about any kind of schism, but he is not listed as a member of their Synod or ministerial commmunity. If anyone knows something about this I would appreciate your setting the record straight.. This is getting exceedingly strange. Hope Beardo looks at this.

There are a lot of people out there who haven’t taken a course in their life and read a couple books. Not even sure if they read them completely through and claim that they are demonologist. It is true that you must be Catholic to be a demonologist. Well, that would be the Catholic churches truth. To become a demonologist, of course there’s a lot of studying involved in all different beliefs. Including the darker side of belief. You must also become an apprentice and as an apprentice, you have to be involved in one exorcism to qualify to be a demonologist.
