"You, Me & Pokémon" from Pokémon Live! • Original Cast • Radio City Music Hall • 2000 (HD Capture)

Initially created in collaboration with Nintendo and Radio City Entertainment at the peak of Pokémon Mania, what was produced was a multi-million dollar stage production that toured the US with initial plans for a live filming, which never made it past a live-feed edit. The edit was kept on hold for a while, with some work done here and there, but once 4Kids went bankrupt, there was no reason to finish the edit and the footage has been lost since then.

OMG! Thank you so much for posting this! Here is my story about how this show changed my life: I loved Pokemon growing up as a child. But I sadly didn't get to see this in its run, (plus it didn't come to Miami). I did learn about this show when I was 11 and believe it or not, the music to this show helped me overcome my fear of live stage shows. As a young girl growing up on the autism spectrum, I was terrified of sights, sounds and smells and very overly sensitive to my environments. But learning about this show and listening to the cast album on my iPod helped me overcome that fear and inspired me to get involved in performing on stage. I was so happy to then come across the full production recording that the stage manager Chris Mitchell uploaded on KZbin in 2012 during my sophomore year of high school and boy was it great. I look back and realize that this show made me want to join the theatre and choir program at my school and sing in the choir at my parish, and I noticed that I started to talk more and socialize with other people (something I could not do despite years of OT, speech and language therapy and social skills groups). This show helped me become the person I am today. Thank you so much for preserving this special part of theater history and to those involved who were involved in this production thank you from the bottom of my heart for being part of something from my childhood that helped me become who I am today!! I will bask in these clips and nostalgia to prep for **SPOILER ALERT** Ash & Pikachu leaving the anime next year

OMG thank you so much for posting this I'm only 11 and I've been researching Pokemon live ever since I was 8 and this was my dream to find a at least one copy of the mastercut versions for Pokemon live and this is the closest we will ever get to getting one 100% God bless you guys maybe one day you'll finally find the mastercut version and release it on KZbin we'll just wait for the time to come but for now I think this is the closest we're going to get to finding the mastercut version hope you guys find more footage thank you guys for this vide and this is the end of this really long common bye🎉🎉🎉🎉✌️✌️✌️

also just wanna say, i think it's safe to say this is the highest defintion footage of the show that's ever been released. I'd like to know what 4Kids did with the tapes after they went bankrupt.

I was told by the executive producer the master tapes were being stored in the 4Kids video library in NYC. They were still believed to be there as late as 2010. When 4Kids' studio space was turned into Yu-Gi-Oh It is unknown where the tapes were transferred, but could hypothetically still be in the storage space there. Sadly he never made a copy before leaving the company.

I love it when Jessie and James come on stage and do the robot. The cast truly was great. To bad the show wasn't very big. Don't get me wrong. it was huge, but not you know.. HUGE. Something I've noticed with the characters. Oak has some very funny moves. Kinda fits with his character in a way. He's a professor. But just watch him during the performance. Same with Delia. She does this thing with her hands and it's kinda cute. She also skips a lot. Very graceful and girly. Nothing wrong with that. And of course Jesse and James steal the scene with their dance moves. I know Andrew Rannells didn't like the show cause he mentioned it in an interview, but the guy plays James almost perfectly, I also heard that he hated James cause Andrew (being gay) Thought he was a gay stereotype.But seriously he and Lauren steal the scenes they are in. Brock also kinda steals the scenes he was in. Oh and let's not forget Pegasus I mean! Giovanni played by Darren Dunstan who is just perfect as a villain. he did almost go into Pegasus at some points in the musical lol Also can I just say I love how cute Oak and Delia are during the beginning of the Best Friends part of the song. Them dancing is adorable specially with Oak being silly.

HOLY CRAP THIS IS AMAZING!!! I'm a big pokemon fan and I've been doing some search on this show on my own! Its my favorite piece of lost pokemon media!! The most common info I got is that footage was recorded for TV and DVD but never released and the tapes are out there somewhere. I really hope that some day the official recordings get released. Btw, there's a petition to bring the show back for NBC like the previous Broadway shows that aired on the channel!

Sadly the show was never filmed for TV specifically at any point, just for home media release when the show was in Chicago, but the edit was never finished.
