I think it’s so easy today to get stuck in our usual listening habits because of streaming algorithms, but it’s important IMO to always be looking for new and interesting music outside of my typical bands & genres.

Neil Diamond rocks! Same with me, my rents brought me to a concert in the early '80s. Great stuff. Although, I take offense at Radiohead being overrated. Just look at my avatar -- one of my favorites. Give OKC a lot of spins. That bonus LP is amazing.

Don’t get me wrong, Ok Computer is a good album, but it’s often held up as one of the greatest albums of the ‘90s, and I just think it’s not even the band’s best album.

Finally, someone speaking sense - I cannot stand Radiohead. At. ALL. Power to the people who do get them, man, I don't begrudge them a bit, as long as you don't dis me for not liking them. And finally - someone else who liked the Chris Gaines period of Garth's career - it was a weird idea, but that album is FANTASTIC and there's more where that came from - he promised to release it "soon' right before 2020 hit, so I don't know if it will ever see the light of day now, but I sure hope it does. Great video!

It was definitely an odd career choice at the time for Garth (and he got way more hate than I think he deserved for doing it), but that album is just fantastic! I’ve been patiently waiting for it to get released on vinyl.

I once had a friend take me to a Radiohead concert when his fiance broke her ankle and couldn't go. Halfway through the show, and this is no exaggeration, about a quarter of the crowd was asleep, another quarter at the concession stands, and the other half were wondering why the hell they spent money for this. Easily the worst concert, and I've been to hundreds, that I have ever witnessed.

I'm not really sure if there's a policing scheme when it comes to music. Iron Maiden to me plough their furrow as the Archies plough theirs. As do The Clash. And Britney Spears. I see no difference. It's all entertainment. I have all Katy Perry's albums on CD including the MTV Unplugged show. Radiohead however to my ears are completely unlistenable. I do like musique concrete such as Soft Machine and early Chicago but Thom Yorke and co is just student rock which I've never much cared for.
