Breakfast prices are very high. In 2017, my son and I went to breakfast. I had an omelet, he had an omelet with hash browns and we both had coffee. The bill, including the tip, was $30. Two weeks later, I found an egg pan at an estate sale for $2. Shortly thereafter, I got a waffle Iron. We have never gone out for breakfast again. Recently, I got a pancake griddle, so we have added that to the menu, although we prefer waffles.

You can plant the seeds from the fruit and veggies. Replant the potatoes, garlic etc. It depends on what the drink if it’s coke it’s coke, if it’s Pepsi it’s pepsi, Fanta could be fizzy orange or orange Fanta etc. Sprite could lemonade, sprite, 7up etc

Ok. I'm hoping your cookbook has a good baked bread recipe. I'm searching for mine which I've not seen in 25 yrs. I stopped baking it when my fourth child arrived at my 40th year. She was the end of my bread making. Took me a year to gain strength back from her birth. Now she's 26 and I'm hoping to teach her how to bake. Now with Tawra easy baking starts another generation. Baking bread was first real big girl cooking I ever did. After Mama passed. She was 40. I think baking and feeding people saved my life.

Hey, girls! Just wanted to say that I'm still thrilled with my volumes 1&2 cookbooks! Best Mother's Day gifts, ever! We're all disabled here at home, so we really need ideas that are easy to do and help us keep to our modest budget. I'm so thankful for the wonderful family recipes that are delicious, easy, and frugal. You're sure not going to miss out on great food with these practical, unique cookbooks! I've been telling my mother, who is a bit of a cynic, about you and your great tips and recipes. She would always laugh and express doubt, but now she listens when I share what Jill and Tawra had to say that day! I love you guys, and I pray for you every day. Please say a prayer for us if you ever think of us here in NJ.

Winco in Tulsa has strawberries for .98 a quart right now! We bought several quarts, sliced them up, put them in a ziplock bag and in the freezer. They have a great strawberry flavor too, I mention this because some strawberries aren't that flavorful. Also, mangos and avacados are cheap too. We've been shopping at Winco more than Aldis and Sprouts in the last couple of years.

Nightshade veggies and carrots can make fibro pain worse for me also. I love carrots and they are cheap so I was eating a lot of carrot soup which I love. My pain got increasingly worse until I researched it Also any type of shellfish can increase fibro pain .I understand about special diets. Eating is a hassle .I often say I wish we didn't have to eat to live. When I go to family gatherings, I bring my food .Loved ones want to fix something I can eat, but it is so complicated as to what you can't eat, that I tell them I wouldn't put them through that just for me.

Rotisserie chickens are $4.98 (and are 3 lbs, not 2 lbs like the grocery stores) at my Sam's Club, they are never discounted. They turn ones that are not sold into chicken salad, or they piece them out and sell 3 lbs of say leg quarters, or breasts, or wings for $3.98 ($1 savings and you get the pieces you want. So I check before I buy. Tawara do you mean that when I come to live with you guys in the apartment, that I won't have a dishwasher?? I am so disappointed, I might have to change my plans. Lol.... God leads you to where you need to go, even with yard sales. I really believe that too. Your advice about those three things to do everyday to help combat depression are spot on. I would add prayer and Bible devotion, but we both know a lot of folks just don't believe or are not saved, and need to come up out of that pit they are in to see the Light before they can start to turn their lives around. Most days I have no where to go...but I am up at 5 am, the bed is made before the teeth are brushed and the face is washed. Then I do feed my cats before getting dressed, then it is on to Bible study, and prayer. My cats are heathens and I want peace to do some Bible studying (lol). Then I get dressed. My "house" clothes are not my "stepping out of my house clothes" though. They are stained (there must be a hole in my lower lip because so much ends up on my shirts), and I have house shorts and going out the door shorts. And my hair is never a mess. My dishes are done every evening, unless I am making something that requires several bowls and pans to accomplish, and then they are done as soon as I am finished with them. Tea for the next day is always made, and my ice machine (a home ice machine, I ditched the ice trays) has been run to make the ice for the following day(s)). Jill, it's nice to know someone else my age admits to parking a little further away from the closest spot to the door to leave room for the "elderly". I am not quite ready to identify as "elderly" yet, even if Tawra is.

Sorry I am late to this party, because you were incorrect - Memorial Day is to remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice in battle, their lives, protecting this country. Vets have Veterans Day and those still in the military have Armed Forces Day. Aldi was more expensive this week for corn on the cob and watermelon, than Walmart. We have a Publix, Harvey's, Winn Dixie, Sav-A-Lot, Rowe's (which is IGA), Walmart, and Aldi. I did this list from most expensive to (supposedly) least. Sometimes Aldi doesn't make the cut as least expensive. But I start there, always. I got over the pre-packaged things, like butternut squash, because it is hard - by buying a deli slicer for $50 on marketplace. I can't get through the winter squashes, and pumpkins by using this, I also use it for huge sweet potatoes so I can dehydrate, also apples, etc, so I can dehydrate them for chips too. I know it's me promoting your books, on Facebook, every chance I get. As you know, you have your haters, who sometimes stick their noses into my posts, but I usually can shut them down easy enough. I just purged another 10 items from my winter collection of clothing. I purged 12 about 2 weeks ago, from the summer collection. BUT...I added 16 pieces from a buy nothing group.
