My grandparents got me a new 2ds xl for my birthday and I just started to mod it a couple days ago. I already have more games then I had on my original ds library, various themes to switch between and many plans to enact around modding it even futher to it's truest potential! Getting a 2DS was such a great choice! :D

God I love the 3DS. I have a limited edition NSMB2 themed 3DS XL that I found laying around my bedroom. At first I thought it was broken but it needed really was just a change of battery. After that, I ended up replacing the circle pad with a metal version and got a 128GB SD card to mod the console before loading it with a bunch of "legally" backed up games I totally own. Even in the days where the Switch is popular, the 3DS is still a neat little handheld that has kept entertained as a kid and I can only hope to carry it with me into my 20s. Bit of a shame that the prices have been going up these days but oh well, what can ya do?

yeah still have my trusty 2ds from childhood and honestly if it was the only one i had i would still be very happy most people assume you need the expensive and rare models this is not the case at all

My problem is not finding a 3DS for a decent price, but finding a high quality IPS top replacement screen that doesn’t negatively affect the 3D mode, and is around $45 or less. I broke my New 3DS XL top screen 3 months ago, and still haven’t found a good priced screen to replace it with.

Yeah finding a screen can be tricky especially when some sellers end up sending the wrong one I’d check AliExpress

Aliexpress sells good quality screens, but they are being produced less and less so it’s hard to find one under $45 for the new 3ds xl model
