Theres alot of swordtails and mollies nowadays diverse in colorations i used to mix feeder guppies with fantail guppies as a kid it was cools to try and go back to genetically to more original plainer colors or body types to as a kid. But displays its quite therapeutic watching fish and not having to care and house them too.💜

I have a 10 gallon guppy tank that needs a re-scape but I don't know if I should use black or white sand. Taking suggestions. What will make the colors pop out? I'm leaning towards black but then I saw a scape with a black backdrop and (not necessarily white) but lighter sand that made their Cichlid look amazing! Hard to choose.

I would go with black substrate. Usually makes fish colors stand out more.

I’m going to do my 20 long guppy, mystery snail and cherry shrimp tank with black sand. My ten gallon guppy and mystery snail tank will be normal beige (white) sand. Both will be Walstad method and very planted, hope they come out good! (waiting on my aquarium stand)
