I like to use dark colors when the water is stained especially black or black/blue For soft plastics or a jig. For moving baits I have done well with fire tiger.

I think I was limited to one color forever, I would probably pick white. Like you said, it is visible in basically any situation. And boy, I haven’t used a Wee R in some time. That’s a classic!

White is a great all-around color that covers so many different situations. And I find it amazing that there's still so many of those classic baits still hanging around from when I was younger, and they still catch fish!

Black, brown, red and blue are my preferred colors for off-colored waters. Opaque or solid colors have the best silhouette in this kind of water.

Weather conditions are a big driver of color choice, such as cloud cover, wind, time of day, etc.

Not all pan fish are just green .I have noticed that some of them are darker like the junebug color especially around overhead cover.and when I go to the other end with colors pink is it. Works in stained and clear water
