Hello BMAC, first and foremost, EXCELLENT EXCELLENT videos!! My question is do you know, if the cases have improved the lines up wholes?? I’m wanting to get this case, cuz I just got my new series 3 and I’m not taking it out of the box until I have a case to put on it cra cra I know, but that was some duckets I placed on it!! Great case, just remember that you have to remove it every few days to clean the inside of it. If not small particles that get stuck inside rub against your Apple Watch and strip down the paint color of the aluminum like sandpaper (exactly like a phone case). After a workout sweat does accumulate inside there too. For this reason I prefer the clear version, to be able to see when it becomes necessary to clean it. Overall these cases are cheap and yet perfectly protect your device while maintaining a sleek aesthetic. Keep up the great videos!

I had the same experience with chipping paint. It really frustrating to have such a soft coating on that pricey product. I was also using clean gel cases and they a far from perfect too because they are quite quickly changing color from transparent clean to light brown cloudy.

Mechanics have been using these types of covers for their Air Tools for at least 3 decades, you put it in a cup of water and microwave it for 1 minute, quickly dry it and it goes on very easy

Thanks so much for this! I just bought it in clear for my new rose gold watch which I have a screen protector on, but I feel so much better with this covering the rest of the exposed body, I'm admittedly very clumsy so I've been terrified of knocking it against something. Also, for anyone curious-- the clear one looks really good over the rose gold. Still barely noticable and doesn't add bulk. Also it comes in a 2 pack which was nice! I'm a little worried about working out with it because I've heard a lot of other people with cases say that they get fogged up when sweating so I'll report back once I exercise.

Update! I love this bumper, BUT sweat will get trapped in it after a particularly hard workout. You might not be able to see that with the black one, but you can see the trapped sweat with the clear one. So just be sure to take it off and wipe it down after workouts!

I have the substantially pricier Catalyst case, sure it’s mainly for ability to go 100 meters in water BUT offers excellent BUMP protection too. Best of all since I bought my Watch used the seller was kind enough to include it making the price I paid a STEAL $100 for Series 2 and 2 bands

I agree completely. I got this black TPU case and a spiegen transparent case for my watch. The transparent one started to become yellow and ugly after just 2 months of use. The black one still looks like new.

not that he is wearing it on the wrong arm(rights wear left and lefties wear right is the standard though) but he is wearing it with the crown facing his arm instead of his hand, a lot of youtuber's are doing this, it helps to avoid accidental button presses when working out. in fact the watch itself lets you choose both left/right arm orientation and left/right crown direction which flips the screen depending on which side you would like the crown on. either way nothing wrong with doing what feels right

Hey, C! I haven't had an issue with any sweat causing problems and I go to the gym 4-5 times per week. A careful wipe-down after the gym if you Watch is sweaty is never a bad idea. Hope this helps!

I’m not currently using a screen protectors either, but I rarely have in the past. I’ve usually found bumper cases, like the one reviewed in this video to offer adequate protection for my daily use of the Apple Watch! My sister, on the other hand, has a wet screen protector applied to hers and she swears by it. I suppose it’s all personal preference as I prefer the feeling of the natural glass on the Apple Watch and after breaking my first Apple Watch learned how to use it actively without breaking it. I hope this makes sense!

Okay... the stainless edition is supposed to be prone to scratches to the metal but not to the glass but the sapphire glass apparently shatters if you drop it on to a hard surface, which should only happen if you take it off and knock it on to the floor by accident. The aluminium version, with the Ion-X Glass, the glass doesn’t shatter as easily but prone to scratches. Light scratches though, so I went with the cheaper aluminium version. The metal doesn’t scratch as easily, except for deep scratches. With my Series 2, I wore it everyday, everywhere. I work on multiple farms, constantly knocking and bumping the watch against metal frames and doors, almost on a daily basis. Granted I’d wear thin fabric gloves over it, to keep it clean and kind of protect it but sometimes, I wouldn’t even wear those! Over a year, it had light scratches on the screen and small indentations around the metal. Just like a normal watch. I’ve now sold it to my dad and he’s using it on a daily basis. It’s never had a case on it and I don’t think it ever should. I mean, working on farms, I should be the first to break it but I didn’t. You have to be extremely careless with it to break it. I now have a series 3 and loving it. The only thing I’d say is, invest with AppleCare. I don’t usually bother with it but it’s the perfect option to insure it, in case you do break it. A side note... I love Apple but lately, I feel like I want to go for an android phone rather than what iPhone has to offer. The only thing stopping me, is GarageBand on iOS, the seamless connection between my Apple devices and now, my endearing love for the Apple Watch. I use to think they were just a fad. It’s quite the opposite. I love my Apple Watch more than any other device I’ve owned. Sure my phone or iPad can do more but my watch is a constant connection to people. Especially with my LTE Series 3. It has actually changed my life for the better. Pair it with AirPods or other Bluetooth headphones aInd you have an unstoppable combination. It’s also like an iPod nano on your wrist now, with the 16gb memory.

BMACadelic You’re welcome. I bought the Armorsuit Military Shield. It’s worked really well so far. I’ve accidentally bumped into things when in a hurry, and no damage to the shield or the watch. The scratches come right off. I would definitely recommend it. The package comes with two shields.

Bradley Delaney there is an instructional video that you can check out on KZbin. The first time I applied it, I put too much of the spray on the shield. It was too wet that it did not stick at all. The second time I applied it, I did not apply too much of the spray. It also did not use a blow dryer but instead just let it dry overnight. It has worked for me so far, and you can hardly tell it is there. Hope that helps.

I would advise not to get any case for the stainless steel version of the watch. Small dirt partials will cause scratches on the finish. Lucky I can buff them out other wise I would be very upset.

I had a case similar but clear, I liked it at first. Then as the weather got hotter, it would wick sweat off my skin and have it travel into the case. Since you have a black one you probably haven't noticed this. It was a lot of sweat wicked up and onto my case. Didn't like that. Put on a new one and it did the same thing. Try clear and you will see.

Your favorite Apple Watch bumper and your screen protector does not match. The bumper case lift all 4 corners of the screen protector.

Not if you apply the bumper onto the watch carefully. I have successfully been able to use both together. You just have to be careful putting the bumper case on.
