You Need this KNIFE TOOL Snapping Bug Fix for your projects

I can't be the only one who didn't know how to fix this right?
This knife tool snapping behaviour has been driving me nuts for years! and this was the solution??

I really with the knife tool would snap to my subdivided meshes! it's a simple request!

I have a strange habit in Blender where I always use F to split a quad into triangles. Then, I subdivide the created edge and use Shift V to adjust the vertices along the edges. After that, I subdivide the surrounding edges and dissolve any unnecessary edges and vertices. It's not like I'm scared of knives, ok? 🥺
