I’m sure some of this will be useful but can I suggest that you slow down a bit. It’s something I notice in the vast majority of tutorial videos I watch that the person goes through things so quickly that it’s like watching on fast forward and having to go back multiple times to try and see what I should do. I know it makes the video longer but slowing down a bit makes it easier to follow and understand. Thanks.

@andybaker7954 I understand and appreciate your feedback. It's a awkward situation really because some people won't watch a long video as attention span isn't a thing anymore😂 but I'll definitely consider slowing it down. Or making it easier to follow🙂

72hz doesnt cause stuttering lol and max bitrate isnt 550 you can go up to 900 if you want just copy and paste the value and try to never use steamvr by use of opencomposite its a huge performace killer

I'm trying to play Alyx on the Quest 3 and it keeps telling me that my 4090 doesn't have enough memory available. I keep dropping the resolution and the refresh rate, and all the recommend settings in the debug tool. It stutters like crazy.
@bignipchris29 күн бұрын
Apparently the 4090 is not vr ready yet and is still waiting for drivers to be released to make it vr ready but you can try this. It could work > >"Go to Computer Management → System Tools → Performance → Data Collector Sets → Event Trace Sessions. In this list, find HolographicShell, right click, and choose stop

Thx for this video, it helped me a lot. But I still have audio issues. The sound keeps dropping out in one or even both ears. Im using the Soundcore Vr p10 for wireless vr gaming without delay. My dongle is plugged into an usb a to usb c adapter and when im watching yt videos on my pc it works totally fine but as soon as i use i for vr gaming the sound issue appears. Does anybody know how to fix this problem?

That's interesting. I would look into getting wired earphones for the quest. I used these short wired earphones that attach along the headset to avoid wires dangling and they are fantastic. The only issue I could think of is bluetooth connectivity.(maybe try another pair of headphones and see if its any different). Or its a issue with the quest itself. And maybe try updating the quest and see if that fixes the issue. If non of them work I can try to look more into it for you

I have also used wired headphones before. The only ones I could find with a suitable cable were €12 on eBay. But the sound was not satisfactory at all and the cable annoyed me. I don't think it's the Quest's fault and I don't have any other headphones that I can use with the Quest. Because a headset doesn't really fit over my head strap. The Vr P10 headphones are actually the ideal solution that I bought specifically for VR. It's just the sound problem that's annoying. As I said, the headphones also work perfectly on my PC via the dongle. But as soon as the PC outputs sound via Quest Link or Steam VR, the sound problems occur. I don't really understand what difference that makes. Thank you in advance for trying to help me.

Just had a look into it. And it seems to be a issue with bitrate on the quest 2 via link. Some people suggest changing the bitrate to 0 to fix it. Seems to be a common issue with the quest and wireless audio

@@bignipchris only with quest 2? I use 3. I should adjust the bitrate in the debug tool right?
@chryptec20535 ай бұрын
@@bignipchris Bitrate makes sense i guess, because the problem often occurs when I move my head.

No harm in leaving it open. But i think restarting the oculus services sets the settings. I could be wrong though. I'll have to look into it
