Those dolphins are called Hectors Dolphins, one of the smallest dolphin species in the world, they are also an endangered species. Their North Island cousins are called Maui's Dolphins.

I love the Catlins - I grew up holidaying at our family 'crib' just 15min inland from Papatowai in Tahakopa (will be *very* surprised if anyone has ever heard of it!). Most beautiful and wild place - just perfect ❤

Wow, what a wonderful video. I am 75 years old and I have been twice on New Zealand. I am wondering if I should rent a van and drive alone on South Island and that is because of your video Guys. The problem is it so far from Norway, more than 26 hours flying time.😞. My last flight from Sideney was 23 hours. Greetings from Norway with wind gusts 62 m per second last night.

Catlins area is an absolute dream of a place to visit. Did you also do relic bay whilst you were there? Right next to Porpoise Bay. A fossilised forest area where some of the fossilised wood is still there on the beach. Just glad you saw those amazing dolphins. Those are some of the smallest in the world and we are lucky to have them in NZ

You should try Steam pots. They work for potatoes, vegetables and even chicken.. Place the water in the bottom pot. Steam the rest. Stack up the pots. Might do wonders. Thanks for another awesome video. Regards. South Africa 🇿🇦.

There’s campervans in the car park every night at the lighthouse, everyone goes there that tours the Catlins, the museum in Owaka has had the highest rate of tourists in the last few years, it’s very popular. Curio bay is the most popular spot with tourists. Why have you hashtagged Napier it’s in the North Island.
