saving a lot of your videos to watch later. I'm a hardstuck diamond largely because of my mechanics, but I'm learning a lot by watching your videos. this is an underrated channel 🔥

yo i've watched all of your videos. i would say you have the best coaching/replay analysis content out there. so far i've been 100 % on your opinions, but im not sure if this is right 00:54 Blue teamate 2 flips into the ball 00:55 Blue teamate 1 who the analysis is of should have gone for the ball just after his tm8 flips into the ball. 00:58 Blue teamate 2 goes left for boost instead of right for the ball. He also flips. Both of his tm8 decissions kinda signalize that he is going out of the play. 00:59 Blue teamate 2 who the analysis did the correct thing to go for that aerial. If u pause the video at 00:59, u can see that Temate 1 is 1. facing towards the goal (awkward and should not turn for a 50) 2. the distance between him and the ball is futher than the distance between teamate 2 and the ball. Teamate 2 is also facing the ball, which is more likely to end up in a 50. Teamate 2 whiffed, but you can see that he was actually closer to the ball than the opp. Scenarios: If teamate 1 went for the big boost and then rotated towards net, he would be last man and able to save any incoming shots. If teamate 2 rotated all the way to the net, the opp would had the benefits due to the other tm8 bad decissions (going for boost instead of ball + facing the net). It would have ended up in a goal or a 2v1 against teamate 2. Opp could have taken a free shot on target or they would had more time than usual to pull of a good play bcz the duration before teamate 1 would have challenged. In my opinion, it was this guy's ball.

Another wildly helpful video! An idea you can consider/experiment with if you think it fits your style: I see some of the other minor mistakes the player makes when you are not talking that you have chosen not to bring up. You might be able to pack in more info by having text come on screen pointing out an opportunity even if you do not speak it aloud. For example, if the player spends too much time in car cam when getting a boost, text appears saying "Hint: Generally, keep car cam use to about half a second to get eyes back on the play as soon as possible." Your videos have helped me quite a lot!

I like this idea, and I'll try to incorporate it! Thank you for the support!

Yeah, only on ballchasing. What's your RL name? Maybe someone on ballchasing has a replay with you in it

Hi! Thank you for your videos! I myself am a diamond and have several questions: 1) better 50 at 13:55. In that situation, what 50 is better? (assuming that my car is sideways to the ball) Single jump in front of the ball and block it with the side of my car? 2) General question about the situation at 11:48. Ball is rolling towards our corner, I'm following it. Is there a rule of thumb for those situations, or should I simply observe what my opponents do (close - boom away. far away - try to control it)

I appreciate the kind words! 1) Yes exactly that. As long as you get as much coverage on the ball, that's good enough. 2) I guess it depends on how good your mechanics are. Usually at higher ranks, when the ball rolls up like that and you're following it, we tend to go for a cross field air dribble or take it to the ceiling. At Diamond, I wouldn't expect that so your best bet is let it roll back down and get a good 50 for your mate to follow up on it.

I really like your videos and your analysis, and with all due respect, I disagree with you at 1:57. Because there’s no immediate danger in the corner, I think he did the right thing not to rush in specially because his mate wasn’t back yet, and his mate did the right thing not rotating and challenging the ball since he noticed his mate was in net. Also I think if he went for it and his mate rotated, it would’ve been the same scenario but delayed since the mate was closer to the play and he was already defending the goal.

Disagreeing is completely fine. My point was that he needed to go first and quick, not necessarily to rush on the ball, but to simply show his mate that he will go first. If you look at 1:51, his mate thought he was going first and hesitated slightly. My advice is to play in a way that removes hesitation and confusion.
