For found kittens (with no mother), goat's milk. As a cat rescue/foster volunteer, I'd get calls in the middle of the night or emergency calls to take in, from natals to older kittens. The local grocery store was open 24hours, and while kittens were en route, I'd pop to the grocery store for the pasteurized goat's milk. Found canned, plain, on the baking aisle, or even better, over in the dairy department with cow milk and coffee creamer. Can use a no-needle syringe(oral syringe can be gotten at 24hour pharmacy), clean medicine dropper, or puppy/kitten bottle. Raised and saved many a kitten on just goat's milk. Also good for senior(old)and geriatric(very old) cats. Goat's milk, pasteurized or not, still has colostrum in it, same as mother cat/dog milk. Raw is better. Make friends with your local goat farmer to get raw goat's milk. The fresher, the better. I was raised on a goat farm with Nubian and Alpine.

I can only get pasteurized goat milk from the store🥺 (petco/petsmart don't carry primal or answers), in that case would you say goat milk kefir or goat milk yogurt is more beneficial than the pasteurized goat milk ?

Imo, raw milk is the way to go. Pasturized milk has been boiled and completely destroyed, everything that's good about it is killed and they replace it back with artificial, inferior nutrients. The trace elements are also lost which cannot be replicated in a lab. I wouldn't go any less than raw, I don't even drink pasteurized milk myself anymore. It's basically dead milk.

Why would extensive information be readily Available or common info? Domesticating / training animals is a craft. You can’t just pick up a pup off the street, not know anything and train the perfect dog. It’s our responsibility as pet owners to research prior to acquiring.

I just started with Raw Goat Milk formulated for cats and dogs; bought frozen at my local pet store after seeing this video. I tried the "little dish" and it didn't work on my kitten & senior cat - I have to mix it in with the wet and raw foods and they ate it with no issues! Thanks for this video! Oddly enough, my dog was the one who got me into dog nutrition. She is a very picky eater! When I looked into why she hated her first kibble, I discovered it was mostly corn. She also gets bored with foods. She does go on hunger strikes. Now, we feed her raw, canned, and freeze dried incorporating eggs and bone broth. My other dog is a garbage disposal who eats literal trash if he gets the chance 😂

Fish oil is really good for dogs with dry skin issues but it’s not necessary as a daily supplement for the common dog. As far as other animals, I have no idea. Might be similar for cats.

I already added duck eggs, raw goats milk, and fermented chicken feet to my pups current stella&chewy raw. but after looking even more (inspired by you!) I realized my pups diet currently is a bit too high in bone (noticed from stool). so i’ve tweaked his daily diet to cut the bone meal & add more muscle meat/organ meat 😀

Yep! I give my cat Primal or Answer’s goat milk every night. He won’t drink it by itself so I just either pour it in with his raw, or portion and freeze it in ice cube trays and add warm water to mix it in. His stool is great, and has no health issues

I started feeding the powdered form of goat's milk (I just add water to it, it's the honest kitchen daily boosters) after hearing about it at the pet store I work at. So far my girl loves it mixed into her wet food in the morning and will drink a little bit by itself after supper at night. He is also FIV positive so giving his immune system every chance it can to protect him is my ultimate goal! My boy dog has had two mast cell tumor as before the age of four so we switched to raw after hearing that could help too so why not add goats milk lol. Our girl is really really lactose intolerant but we’re going to try it anyways (very little at a time to start). I love your channel, and I am so grateful that you share all of your knowledge!! I found you when I was researching nutrition for my 10.5 year old who is diagnosed with mast cell cancer. We went the surgical route for 5 tumors, but we ended up moving on to chemotherapy. It’s been 3 months, and I’m finding his cancer actually sped up. I never knew the amount of garbage found in kibble. I’ve placed him on a canned diet from Beyond (Wild). I love the ingredients, and he is so happy eating it. Currently coming off dry food (I use wet food too) and trying out freeze dried raw. Used some today crumbled over their grainfree kibble. Cant wait to try it wet and with my suspected IBD kitty. She has chronic diarrhea, weight loss, always hungry and occasional vomiting. She became ill recently and had to go to the vet bc she wasnt eating, but her appetite is back now, but diarrhea is still there. Its very difficult to adminster Flagyl to her, This is my first time having to syringe her meds. Really hoping the raw goats milk can solve all her digestive issues. Pls advise. Thank you. We are so fortunate. A few months ago we met a young woman at a farmer's market who runs a goat farm w/her husband just outside of the town we live in ! My husband drinks goats milk because it agrees w/him. He gives some to our male kitten who loves it. After hearing what you had to say about it, I'm going to offer it to our dog, too. She has had some digestion issues in the recent past. It's nice getting goat milk from the local farm. We know it's fresh.....they milk the goats the day before I pick it up. And the cost is better than from the store.....& it tastes WAY better than what my husband used to get from the store.

I'm sorry if anyone has already asked this. But when incorporating the appropriate amount of goats milk to your pet's diet, Because it is high and protein and so rich in nutrients. Is there a certain amount of their usual Meal that you should take away to make sure that you're not overfeeding. For example, if you're adding a quarter cup of goats, milk to your dog's kibble are you therefor taking a quarter cup of kibble out?

I took your advise and bought some Answers goat milk. 4 days s to thaw in fridge and then I made ice cubes. My 8 mos old kitten and my 2 yr old dog absolutely loved this! No hesitation from the cat , she went right in and lapped it up. I also add Steve’s Raw food to my pets canned and fresh cooked. Steve’s raw does have raw goats milk in it.

Do you have any thoughts or investigations you’ve done on raw cows milk? I am old enough I grew up in the long ago days on the farm, when we fed only raw fresh foods, including RAW goats milk, and RAW cows milk to all our dogs and cats… They had no problems with either one. I run a shelter/rescue for cats and kittens, and I would never even dream of feeding any type of processed cow or goats milk… So I use raw, goats milk, especially for the bottle babies. I don’t use raw cows milk in my rescue, but I do use it regularly at home for all of my dogs and cats. I use mostly raw goats milk, but when that is not available, I rely on the cow’s.

My poor kitten is having chronic diarrhea and now he's bum is so irritated and bleeding a bit. I'm at wits end since I've taken him to the vet and spent so much $. I just found out about goats milk and your channel, can I give pasteurized ones from grocery store? I don't have unpasteurized right now. I desperately need help to help him. I stop giving him dry kibbles cuz he just have liquid poo from it. He also had fleas/worms, was on dewormer twice. I gave him some plain cooked rice mixed with canned tuna and a dash of goat milk from grocery store this morning. History: My new 3 months old kitten, had goopy eyes so the Dr suspected (not confirmed) Feline herpes and gave it isathal eye gel 3gm 12 hrs for 5 days. Then he started sneezing 3 weeks later when he went for his 2nd booster shot, the vet put him on Metronidazole liquid 0.4 cc every 12 hours with food for 5 days ( just ended on 10/05); started on Antirobe Aquadrops 0.5 every 12 hours on saturday; been having uncontrollable pooping accidents where there's just little drops of soft stool randomly on floor, one time i caught him in time there's poop coming out and he doesn't seem to even feel it or know. I already did an comprehensive stool test for him and he tested positive for Campylobacter jejuni, the reason I got the test done was because he was having pretty bad diarrhea. It started to get better at first when he was on the first round of antibiotics for sneezing and now it's seems to get worse again. I'm worried about him and his intestinal health. I have another 1 yr resident cat and been keeping them seperate for now cuz I'm worried it could be contagious even tho the vet didn't give me any instructions or advice on how to keep the other one from catching whatever the new kitten have. If there's any advice you could give that would be greatly appreicated.

Liquid versions of goats milk have active enzymes which is the preferred version for maximum nutrition. But yes, powdered substitutes exist

Hello im new here and i really love whst i have watched already. I'm also brand-new to this raw but i want to so badly start it. I wish you had those sited highlighted i mean they should send you something for you talking about them. I have 3 dogs 2 shih tzu's Asmara Lareina, Emma Bell & Tank Bulldozer Shar pei. I also have 4 cats thats not counting all the homeless I take care of. Inside only 1 her name is Blue her mom's also mine her name is momma she picked me & my back door to have her babies. It was 112 degrees out that day I had never seen her before that day. I truly don't know how but she allowed me to get her inside where she stayed until the babies was big enough to get them new homes. She went straight to be spayed 4days before her kittens left and it broke my heart. I was debating on waiting because she was supposed to be gone for almost 48 hours. However they did allow me to bring her home a tad bit earlier to be with her kitten's and of course i had to keep them off her because they busted her open. I was told they could be with her and nurse but nope. I had to start meds asap thank God she was able to heal up fast in 10 days she was as good as new. Then she busted out the door so thank God she's spayed. She's a in and out girl. She hated being in all the time. Then i have 2 boys father and son. Dad's name is Porter and sons Hunter both look alike but Dad's huge. Dad brought son home after i told him NO. 😅😅 He didn't listen at all. It's 4 years now with Hunter. I have been enjoying your content so far. Question about the goats milk. If I defrost it , shake it up and refreeze in ice trays would that be good? That way I can preserve it a bit longer in a zip lock and portion accordingly.

Thoughts on goats milk with carna4 duck recipe with an added Sardine and frozen blueberries ? My husky LOVES this combination and goes on strikes if it isn’t strictly those 4 things Am I missing something I can add or is it overkill?
