I started using RBM because it was a requirement for Eagle Rising mod. I liked what I saw and tried it out without Eagle Rising and still liked it quite a bit to keep it a staple of my gaming. I even liked what I saw from archer and cavalry units if you "F6" and let the AI take over the army. The only thing I didn't like was enabling realistic arrow arcs. That was a bit too much so I disabled that part of the mod.

Yeah I agree with the arrow part it is pretty cool but I’m not too sure how I feel about it

Tried it, loved it at first, but after a few hours it started to feel like it's too much. It makes killing people really, really difficult. I mean REALLY difficult. You need to hack away at a lightly armored nobody for half a minute with a huge two handed sword to take them down. If you're going up against heavily armored cavalry, you're screwed. I get it, it's "realistic" and swords aren't going to cut through armor, but the mod almost makes swords useless. I haven't even tried it yet, but I'm ASSUMING I'm supposed to use blunt weapons now, which is something I don't like at all. I also don't like how your weapon can just randomly fly out of your hand at any given moment. You hit somebody's shield and you disarm yourself. It happens way too often to be realistic. Maybe the mod has a hidden arthritis feature I didn't know about. All in all, I just don't think it's balanced enough to be fun in the long run.

It is funny when you do cavalary psycho charges, and then yr guy hits the enemy and loses his spear :)

psycho charges? how long have you been saying that, i love it haha. Its cycle charging as in, it charges over and over in a cycle.

@@VicSicily Cycle charging is the name of the process. Psycho charges are the result they have on the enemies. Read about Polish Hussars. They were so efficient at charges, that mercenaries contracts often stipulated that if the enemy has Winged Hussars in their ranks, the mercenaries can walk away without the fight.

what does the mod change? Looks pretty much the same to me as the base game. My mods are (diplomacy, improved garrisons, and banner kings. Makes the game more fun and adds interesting new challenges.

Those are some cool mods haha but this basically just changes the AI a little and some of the mechanics I suggest reading the mod description

@@EternalNico1 alright I’ll do that, thanks for the tip my g. I really like the game but I think it lacks ai realism especially in sieges. They should have multiple units of melee and archers. Units that fall back and hold choke points like other midivil games

How do you get the troop outlines and more visible flags? All I did was remove the circles above the troop heads but I can’t see anything when I order :(

Hmmm the troop outlines might be from the RTS camera mod being installed, and the flags are from the raise your banner mod

Not a fan, the handle hit makes axe and swinging polearm terrible. You can be sure spear and mace are the only viable weapon in the game. At higher skill sword become viable too, but still couldnt compare to thrust polearm or mace. 4/10 mod

My cavalry would destroy your army in seconds 😂, they use shield wall formation and i lead them charging through enemy lines multiple times

Charging a shield wall head on with cav is a death sentence for the cav

I tried this mod last night, and I couldn't get my regiments to target specific enemies. For example, cavalry f1 f3 enemy archers.

What happens is when using charge command every ai unit selects a target in the enemy group and if all targets are accounted for before all your units aquire one they then attack the next closest enemy. If your use engage command, all friendly units will focus on the group targeted, even if it's 50 v 1 all 50 will only engage that 1 enemy unit

can u help me fix mine i didn't do anything wrong i did what it said to install it i disabled all my other mods and only tried rbm but it keeps crashing im on pc but use xbox app to play, also on version 1.2.10

Well ... this mod has big balancing problems, horse archers are basically useless and normal cavalery is even better than in normal game, i tried playing sturgia, khuzait and vlandia and of course vlandia cav only is destroying everything much much faster than in vanilla game :/

I found the opposite problem of lancers not being good enough in the hands of the AI, so from base RBM I improved couch damage, loosened couch restrictions so AI can use it better, improved AI cavalry behavior so they don't interrupt their own couches by raising shields, and a bunch of other things
