My own fingerstyle arrangement of this classic Chuck Berry song - I always thought this would make a decent folk song! C'est la Vie!!

Thanks, getting my paper and pencil now. Emmylou has had me thinking of learning this song for awhile... Thanks for the great tutorial.

Thanks for tuning in Dennis. I love the Emmylou version but she only plays 2 chords (G & D) and as a solo performer that doesn't cut it of course. In a band, especially with Albert Lee strutting his stuff, you don't need to worry do you!! Very good luck with this great song.

Thanks a bunch Paul; I've always loved this song as it was a one-off Chuck Berry classic with that very special piano solo interlude. All the tutorials on KZbin (even including the famous JustinGuitar) tout this as a simple two-chord song. Any solo acoustic guitar player is going to struggle getting much audience attention just playing C & G, even including rolling 6th & 7ths, and missing out the highlight of the piano solo just ignores the main reason the record was and still is such a standout smash hit. It's well worth learning to play those very special parts of the song - audiences love it. I've also done a strummed version here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eZW5g3d5p7RrZpY
