I don’t think that Mitzuki isn't committed to their relationship, I feel as more so that he is someone with an avoidant personality. People like that tend to avoid confrontation, conflict, affection, and even speaking. It's not that they don’t love you. It's just hard for them to express it vocally. We can see that Mitzuki is clearly iffy, shy, or embarrassed when talking about love, affection, and things of sexual nature at times. And like he said, "I'll show it through affection," as in physical affection, and I feel as though it supports my point. It also feels as though his love language is very different from Kyota's. Instead of words of affirmation, he feels more comfortable with physical touch. Mitzuki is also far younger(this is mentioned later on) so that could also impact they way he acts, it might seem more awkward cause he has mess experience and therefore less of an idea of how to show someone he cares.
