You ONLY Need These 5 Discs in Your Bag!

This is some great advice, I actually made a game for the off season to get to know my discs better, I have 6 columns throwing putters, overstable approach, mid, control driver, fairway, and distance. Before my weekly round I roll a D6 to see which disc I will get out of each column and to amp up the difficulty I filled in at least one blank with no disc and the others with re-roll or your choice. So I can go to the course with anywhere from 1-6 discs and a putting putter. this has really helped improve my comfortability with my discs and we just been doing it for a month Only been playing a year so looking forward to getting into some tournaments next season with the new confidence in my bag.

Cant agree more. I teach a lot of beginners and this is my exact recommendation. We play with almost the same bag too. My main 5 are Pure, Zone, Hex, River, Eagle.

I loved this. I travel a fair amount so this is great advice for me. Currently just bag an inner core, harp, mako3, river, thunderbird, and firebird. While its fun to throw lots of discs, I figured I don't really need anything more than that, and this video was a cool confirmation of that idea!

I do this pretty much all winter… we have snow here so yeah… K1 Soft Reko, GStar Mako3, Thunderbird, Hawkeye and Teebird. I play a LONG course…. So the teebird was a Wraith until I lost it two weeks ago

I still think the draco is better than the firebird. Its that millenium plastic man. Those dracos DO NOT BEAT IN. The rims are concrete.

I have a Draco in my main bag. They are great but more of a utility disc because of just how incredibly overstable they are.
