Yes. Their first section is so damn powerful, and it's by far my favorite part of the whole performance. Just because it's filled with such eerie calmness. It's a great example of the calm before the storm, that you can see crackling to life.

I was lucky to watch her live in NYC, all hell broke loose after her performance of "oughta know", the audience erupted in applause and cheers. I'd say that the standing ovation at the end of the show was 80% for her. I wish there were an official recording of her performance available online & from abroad !

Same here! We were so incredibly fortunate to see Jagged Little Pill on Bdway, with Lauren Patten singing this number, before the Covid shut-down. Her performance was so fantastical that it would have been impossible for the audience NOT to stop the show with a standing ovation for this phenomenal singer!

I saw it soon after Covid close to when Broadway reopened. At the show I was at, Lauren's performance of You Oughta Know earned her a standing ovation from the entire audience. I have seen hundreds of Broadway shows and never have I experienced a standing ovation in the smack middle of the show. Was an unforgettable moment.

Lauren earned her Tony Award. She really took “You Outta Know” to a new level. She has a wonderful, strong voice, and she used it perfectly. Not, only is she musically talented, she is a very talented actress. I know her best from “Blue Bloods”. Lauren, I thank you for your performance, and I hope you have many more years of great performances to come😊😊

Such a strong performance. I can't get enough of it. The motionless dead pen stares, the ache that she it trying to remove from her body, the emotions her face goes through, the anger at the end. Every time we get to the chorus its a different emotion. Brilliance.

So I was lucky enough to discover this musical right before it headed to broadway, and saw it when it was still cheap back in December of 2019. And let me just say, not only was there a standing ovation after the song was over, but everyone stayed up for a solid couple minutes! She totally deserved it too

I’ll just keep coming back to this until we hear more from Lauren ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ When we saw the show in November I leaned over to my mom after “Hand In My Pocket” and said, “Okay, I will listen to everything she ever sings, ever” and I still stand by that. What a voice.

Saw this for the first time yesterday I am heartbroken for so many reasons. I hate that I miss this entire production. When it was touring and when it was on Broadway. I also am consumed with every feeling that. I'm sure we are supposed to feel watching this. My voice in teacher actually wants me to learn this for auditions. I'm trapedacious.

jagged little pill. kinda hard to explain briefly since there are multiple plotlines around several different characters, but I'd say the focus is s*xual assault and the aftermath of it, and how the trauma from that can stay in people for a long time
