Dear Nick, Massive thanks for posting this recording of your rendition of the classic "You Raise Me Up" - a great success, in my opinion, well-done! I have only just seen this post by yourself so cannot say much more apart from offering my reflections on this very rendition, so apologies in advance. I would very much like to hear more of the lower register of your baritone. In most pieces the music tends to intensify towards a climax at the end, taking a vocalist to a higher pitch and top power of delivery. If you ever choose to tap into the operatic bel canto as a source of inspiration, I would very much like to hear your warmed-up and powered-up baritone notes that would hit those goose bumps when you deliver it at the top of your power. With best regards and wishes for future successes, Andre (hi/him) London, UK

Very nice Belcanto tecnic! You should def sing and post more full covers to listen and learn how a skilled barithone manages correctly and effortlessly to sing the hardest passages like the (G#?) you did in "I am strong"...
@lexsoft39693 ай бұрын
As far as I know, the part of "I am strong" that occured at 2:40-2:41 is G4 which is the highest note of this version. In Westlife's version it is A#4. I have done these two versions, but currently only posted Josh Groban's version on YT. The result, I think, is not really good, but not bad either. 😀

I know exactly how you feel! I'm a soprano and I have terrible nerves and usually when my aniexty rises and nerves creep in it's like my throats gets dry my high notes don't come out and like my voice goes so quiet and can barely make a sound. My best advice is to like just go for it and if you don't like it retry and give it your all. Close your eyes and pretend you're not recording. I hope this helps.
