Only by being in this play an singing this song at the end of the show can you understand why Lucy looks like she is about to cry at the end. I'm playing Lucy right now and I get emotional every time we sing this song. It's so powerful after you've been with a cast so long.

This is fantastic! The part where the little red-haired girl holds Charlie Brown's han is so charming! And the ending is very fun! I also must say that I was intrigued by Linus- he looks like Curt Cobain and sings like Bieber

There are two versions of this play.. there is the original 1969 and then the revised 1999 version.. I'm in the process of obtaining the licensing for my school to perform this play...and according to the license holder there are. 2 versions...

no, there aren't 2 different versions: there's sometimes a supporting cast of other characters- kinda like choruse. marcie, paddy, violet, freeda, pig-pen etc. soz- i'm a musical theatre freak! :-)

I thought charlie brown was fantastic. The only person I really didn't like was linus.
