Àlëx Jàmës Àçëvëdø the thing is her annoying voice was intentional. When she says "I think the way you play the piaaaaaano is nice", she'd supposed to be screaming in his face. It's really funny. Yeah on the soundtrack it's annoying but on stage it's hilarious.

Our local theater is putting on this musical as a dessert theater in August, and I just got cast as Lucy, today. This song, with that girl playing Lucy has made me really glad about my casting position. I absolutely love this, and I love this high school's version of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown"!

My school is doing this play, and i'm glad we are not the only ones who feel like Lucy's singing doesn't have to naggy. Our Lucy has an absolutely beautiful voice and she actually gets to show it off a bit in some of her solos like this one. Why would we want to ruin it? She's funny enough as a naggy CHARACTER. She doesn't have to be a naggy SINGER too.

You have suchh a fantastic voice. The one thing is you should have totally goofed up this part. over act a bit because she is an obnoxious child basically. but great job over all. i loved the "AAHH!!" hhaahh his face was priceless

He's not even paying attention to her! >_< Don't get me wrong, the piano playing was very well acted, but he should've been reacting to her too. Lucy was GREAT, but the voice wasn't obnoxious like Lucy.
