Greg definitely helped me with my career development. Wouldn't have the job I have today without his guidance!

Career development cycle.the some important points from hes topic are as follows. 1: explore. 2: engage. 3: experience 4: embark. I was given as part of career role development talks i was asked to state what are some important of the topic, that he explains, they're only four, explore, engage, experience and embark. He explains everything well, and i have a better understanding about he's session, i wish he had more time in such speech, I was very interested in this session i gained a lot.

We were given this as part of a telework assignment. We were asked to state what were the six Es that he explains. There were only five: explore, engage, experience, embark and elevate. He explains everything well and I wish he'd had more time. I was especially interested in what he said about engaging in civic activities to find out more about a field you are interested in. I don't think many people consider volunteer opportunities to gain experience and network.

Thank you for listing the 5 E's. I needed them for a homework assignment and I was so lost lol.

I have to play devil's advocate here. When I was sixteen I shadowed a midwife and got dizzy and saw stars during my first pelvic exam, I almost passed out. I took it to mean that I was not "cut out" to be in the healthcare field. I hemmed and hawed in school for another decade, plus. Eventually someone told me that it is extremely common for healthcare providers to react that way in the beginning, and they do get over it. 30 years later, I am proud to say I am a nurse practitioner. But when I was doing clinicals during my first nursing degree, I realized that if I had not let that episode stop me at 16, I could have been doing this for 16 years already, instead of being a new nurse at 32. I'm glad your student is happy as a CPA, but some people just need support and encouragement at their most vulnerable times to pursue their dreams.
