I can't say that I was moved. Judaism is not about "telling a story", even metaphorically. Judaism is about understanding and following a philosophical teaching, with a religious model of existence, that aspires to (1) identify what gives one's finite life an infinite, eternal meaning and (2) guide one's life towards attaining that meaning. JP's perspective on Jerusalem is completely Christian (understandably). The non-Jews who "need it" in the way he says are the Christians.
