I agree there are so many hidden costs to 'doing a job'. I would have given anything to work from home back in the day! At least today's workers can benefit from that shift. I have never regretted ditching the job and working for myself. A big factor for me was that being employed means you are just a tool for making someone else's dream come true. The owners and directors of the business have factored you in as an expense. They are leveraging your life and time to improve their own! I prefer to be focusing on making my own dreams come true, and I'm willing to put in a lot more work for that because it feels less like work when you get to reap the rewards.

100% agree with you Joanne 💜 Making the jump from being an employee to running my own business was scary, but I've never regretted it. I love the flexibility and all the time I got back to live my life. Thanks for watching.

I have always said that I valued my time more than what I was making but often found that I gave more and more to the job... someone else's dream(thatbline hit like a gut punch). I sacrificed time, mental and physical health, and I was so discouraged. I have tried to explain to people in my life that the job is so much more than what you are making $$. This video is spot on. Thanks so much!❤

Me too Tanya 💜 I've worked in highly stressful jobs in the past that made me severely depressed. I'd much rather work less, have a huge amount of free time and enjoy following my passions…even if it earns less.
