The Wowgo 3E is fantastic. And to show you how good it is we got the Engwe X24 - a £1800 1200 watt ebike and put them head to head in a drag race and hill climb. The Engwe X24 should win against the £393 Wowgo 3E, right? Right? Poor Engwe X24...
I still can't wrap my head around how Wowgo have made this Electric Skateboard for this price. Other brands are going to have to do the same to compete because this Eboard is so much better than anything of a similar price. Exway and Backfire do have entry level belt boards but they cost more and have lower spec.

Good to see an older fella riding one. I got the pioneer 4 hub version. I try to ride every day. And I'm 51. My 11 year old daughter just rolls her eyes at me as I fly past her on her gotrax scooter. I've been brave enough to go 23mph on the board. Perfectly stable but not in turbo.

Tynee offer a belt drive Ultra for that sort of money. I bought one then added the off-road kit with 150mm pneumatic tyres. It is a great way to hurt yourself as a middle aged man though...

⚡ *Loved the cold openin!* ⚡😂 Storage and fun is a big reason to get an eBoard rather than an eBike. I reckon people try different PEVs for a while then see what they personally prefer. Some like all of them, some mainly stick to one type. Amazin how good the budget priced boards are now, back in 2017 when I started, budget boards were ok, good fun but not as good as what we have now for the same price. It's just unreal to now be able to get such a good quality belt drive board for that price. My first board in 2017 was a single belt drive cruiser that went max 15mph, then hub drive became popular at the budget end, now it's comin full circle. You're mad ridin on wet ground though 😂 I used to, not anymore lol. Omg my remote has two buttons and a lot of times I press the wrong one too 😂 That freeze frame, rewind edit 👌🏼👏🏼👏🏼 If I saw the board slippin on wet ground, without watchin the whole video, I would have said brakin on wet ground made it spin out. But havin heard you talk about the issue with one motor, and that you were goin downhill, it's possible the motor/esc just had a weird freakout, I see it "tweaking" a bit just before the slip. Awesome video! Defo one of my favourites you've done 🤙🏼🤙🏼

Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed it. I agree about the fall. That little jerk beforehand was weird. I shoulda just gone way slower tbh. It felt good going up the hill though. I was able to keep full throttle unlike the flex pro. Cleaned the board up this morning. Orange wheels going back on 😂😂

If it looks like rain don't take the board . They are not 100% water proof. And even the rubber wheels will slip with a little water. The boards are mostly ply wood and don't like to be soaked either. But they are the best fun pre mile you will ever have .

Ngl, just curious as to whether my Cube Ebike would perform like your Ebike did up the hill! That kinda astonished me tbh, wondering about your gear selection and power choice now 😂

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. The Cube could potentially do a lot better - decent torque but you could also change gears on the fly - low gear take off, higher gears to build speed, gradually drop down as it gets steeper. On the hub drive bike i rode, gears don't make a difference as it directly drives the back wheel. I did use a mid drive bike up there on one occasion, but I was so used to doing it with hubs I didn't even think about the gears until later 🤦

Hey! Thanks for the review... I have a question though; at 4:31 you show the wheel off the board... it looks like the rim where it meets the bearing is cracked! It might just be extra lubricant, but it looks SUS 2 me.

@@e-VRC I wasn’t a fan of their customer service, but we’ve come to an understanding now and they’ve stepped up to the plate. I have over 3000 followers on my Engwe Facebook pages so it was a lot of pressure on them to resolve some safety issues … like you, one of them is the mechanical brakes issue, they should be upping the price point and making sure that everyone gets a bike with hydraulic brakes as standard. That was one of a few issues. I have three Engwe’s, the Pro, the X and the M20. Anyway, I have this, 48v 750w hub motor and 52v 1500w Bafang mid drive which I’ve ironed out all the kinks now, added an Eggrider to reprogram, I’ve had nearly 40mph out of it on the flat by throttles alone and nearer 50mph down hill. All the suspension has been swapped out, it’s a fun bit of kit. I'm pretty sure that wasn't the case at the time of review but yeah it makes the current price $649 which though not overpriced is way more than I'm saying it is. Really annoying, a lot of the chinese companies seem to be having difficulties delivering to the uk at the moment.
