Something that’s been bringing me joy and an extra lil detail to my outfits is taking clip on earrings and attaching them to the collar of my tops. You can also add a lil chain to either side for more drama too.

The neutral fit was my fave. That Dior gown over linen pants?! TO DIE! I’ve seen someone use brooches to bunch up skirts and long shirts to add texture without adding layers. (Tldr; long maxi falls off in public *yesterday*, still looks chic) I too love a long skirt with a tank top. However, yesterday I learned that if your body shape has changed and your long skirt is a wrap, give it a test run at home, in case maybe you once had hips but now do not, and said elegant and chic outfit gets a tad bit ruined WHEN YOUR SKIRT FALLS OFF COMPLETELY IN THE SELF CHECKOUT at Walmart. good news, much less emotionally traumatic than I would have thought, most ppl pretended not to notice and an elderly lady successfully contained her laughter with incredible effort.

“Outfit recipe” is the perfect term for the concept I was trying to pin down when creating a mood board for a character recently. I came up with “tight tank top and baggy pants” which isn’t original but is a style I noticed I like a lot on myself. Gonna have to participate in this challenge since I found this video so soon!

My go to is always long top and short shorts or small top and loooong skirt. Oh, I highly recommend The Dark-Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon. There's a graphic novel series based on the books. Basically it's about ancient vampire hunters that are born from betrayal. There's also lots of romance! Not to mention the art is very good~
