NASA intern freshman year of college(stipend) (obtained by power of persistence/running down all leads to get in front of the decision makers), marketing internship (commission) AND driving delivery(peanuts) Sophomore year. I'm working on a PhD now and worked remote for MSCI last summer for $26/hour

But I have to say this: being an economically attractive high value man puts you in the crosshairs of women who are mainly out for your money, thus the term "economically attractive". Making enough to cover your needs, plus a bit left for a few discretionary expenses, ensures that if a woman has interest in you, it's more about your other attributes than it is your income.

People can tell you have a well paying job just by looking. Hell, even your watch and other accessories can give it away! Do you think the average 60K a year wage earner will be wearing a Rolex or an Omega? The only way no one would know how loaded you are is if you dressed like you make 60k or less, drove an economy vehicle and didn't have anything more than a $100 G-shock watch.

Hey, I live with my mom (she is 76 years old). Girls still date me. I make good money (above the median income) and I also own three houses that I rent out. Sure, I could stay in one of them, but personally I'd just rather make more money with the rentals. I'm probably able to obtain 1 house a year at the rate I'm going, so I don't care if people make fun of me living with my mom.

Go get a low-level accounting job - it’s extremely easy right now. Search for accounting clerk jobs in your area. At least you have the degree, tell them you’re enthusiastic about putting it to good use and hope to grow to a higher level staff position within the year.

@@dennisartstudio1389 Lol I’m in accounting major, recommendation is to pay attention to detail get an accounting dictionary and understand the terminology as soon as you can. Accounting math uses HighSchool arithmetic at best.

How so, this guy has a degree some programming ed. Some motivation to try new things like the training program, I think he said Brittan, makes sense, over population on limited avaliable jobs zero housing prospects, depressing female relations, 100% lacking motivation for the chase of women. The most freaking tail I ever got was when I got a job at Taco Bell for 9 bucks an hour. How ? I don't know. I worked the drive through and asked for numbers and worked the front point of sale , got numbers given to me by gals. I asked one gal out, she was engaged. She Gave me 2 of her 18 yr old friends numbers. I hit one up that night! She was tight! You have to know though, I was 22 and had ran 10 miles a day in my late teens. So it's exercise combined with youth and then advertising yourself anywhere in society women happen to go , and always ask out the 6s who already have boyfriends! It worked for me! I've had it happen where I've been to swing dance shows and have been turned down by a bunch of the girls as well; it's no fun. Simply not having your own place is a big problem for dating as an adult. But this is likely to be a growing problem if you look at the state of inflation. A friend is in his 30’s and lives with his widow mom. The difference is he’s an electrician and has a second job. He’s getting debt free and making plans. In the meantime he can’t date though. His looks are about a 5 and he’s 5’7”. It’s rough out there.

during pandemic I did in-home cooking for families / student groups - cooking American comfort food (the Central Asians love it but it is impossible to get here locally) my signature is Chicago Deep Dish Pizza and sides ( home fries, mac& cheese casserole, salads, choco pudding pie) I also sell a home cooking recipe book 9.99 I did 1-2 meals a day all through pandemic - and on Saturdays & Sundays Brunch Buffet - $25 a head, drinks extra. It was a cool, fun and profitable way to meet new people, get paid and eat my favorite foods. I felt like a little Anthony Bourdain - but without his big celebrity or fat salary I probably cleared 20K each year from this - and in the region - that is big cash (my rent is 125.00 a month - 20k a year goes a long way) * for reference the Head of Medical Ministry for the Nation makes about 14K a year in salary.

In accounting, ya it’s not fun but make a comfortable six fig salary with no CPA. Just man up and do the work. Other friends I know are lazy and wonder why they only making minimum wage at 35. One friend of mine could have easily make six fig driving trucks at the post office but didn’t want to take the early shift 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄.

A functioning duo save so much money (which creates generational wealth) compared to two individuals having to pay for everything twice. Two rents/mortgages, two phone bills, two internet bills, etc etc. Something else I don't see mentioned much is that the average lifespan of a single guy is like 20 years less than a married guy. People might talk a lot about how great being single is but I doubt many will genuinely want to die in their 50's.
