This type of content is something I’m experimenting with. It’s longer but I believe it packs a ton of value around the nuances of Apex. Thanks to everyone who submitted footage for this and perhaps I’ll try more of these in the future! (Btw first clip was platinum ranked, my pen was blocking the rank logo)

It feels like nostalgia to see these mistakes cause I used to make these mistakes 3 years ago but those days were the golden days. I wish I could go back to those days cause even tho I was bad back then I still had a lot of fun compared to now by playing some sweaty ass tournaments which needs 60billion time to find one.

I like the video reviews a lot. It's nice to see how high level players approach the game and to hear them analyze their own gameplay, but it's just as helpful to look at mistakes of lower elo players and have a coach say what they could have done better. I'm definitely on the lower skill end myself, so I see a lot of mistakes that I would personally make in these videos. It helps put my own gameplay into perspective.

Yeah very good info! I think the biggest change for me was to force shielding in fights even if I don't think I'll have time, most people take too long to really commit to pushing in hard on me and that leaves some time for me to just be able to get it off and have an advantage.

i adore this type of content, it was rampant in the learning community of overwatch, and it wasn't until i watched yours that i realized how much i missed it! such an important learning method. my only recommendation is perhaps mentioning the rank of the player? a lot of this video isn't useful for me, but there wasn't any way for me to figure it out until watching it (not any less important of a video, just not for me!). it'll also become more attractive if you have plat/diamond gameplay with mistakes to address, as many are shooting for those ranks. thanks again, great content!

I like these replay analysis from almost any content creator that does them. I think some of my issues come from not being able to tell the differences between legends at range and I don't know if there is a key to getting good at it. Along with making faster decisions
@Jwellsuhhuh
@Jwellsuhhuh Жыл бұрын
Good thing about your first problem is that none of the legends have abilities that work well long range, but getting better at discerning them literally just comes from playing the game more. You’ll see the specific visual features and model shape of each legend. As for making faster decisions, it’s not really about being “fast”. Pros look like they’re making fast decisions when most of the time they’re really “unconscious” decisions, where they don’t need to actively think to make good game sense decisions. You learn to do this by “practice makes permanent” where if you keep making the same mistakes you’ll learn to unconsciously keep making those mistakes. So pay attention to the reasons that you get killed and don’t make the same mistakes repeatedly. Make smart decisions (slowly if needed) and the more you do it the more it will settle into your unconscious and that’s what becomes your definition of “fast” decision making

Some of your rotation tips mid gun fights with teams third partying aren’t smart. You’re telling the dude to push right between the two teams through the low ground when they should keep on going left and pin wheeling the edge of storm. A. To attack the higher team and B. It’ll make it tougher for the team behind to follow or get a line on you.

Healing, agreed. Failing to push quickly after hitting the totem, agreed. Pushing through the Fuse ultimate, terrible move. Need to go around. Failing to heal again, agreed. Use the cells vs. the battery since you're not under pressure, agreed. Damn, I just need to be a coach. I'm certain I'm going to wind up agreeing with everything in this video.

"That guys flesh" actually gives your team ZERO information. What guy?... The Seer?... The Valk?.. Who are we talking about? THAT is the #1 problem I see in nearly every skill level, below Master (even there sometimes), on a daily basis in Apex: Abhorrent comms and little to no pings.
