Phenominal video! I only caught one point I would take issue with: you said the three "lense" options in the Fusion camera give you "the same output resolution." This is only partly true, in that the images created will have the same pixel dimensions, but that's ONLY because they are being interpolated -or "rezzed"- up in software. The Fusion camera only has one set of lens elements, just like the others. There is no movement or optical zooming going on, as Apple deceptively claims; rather, the camera software crops the Fusion sensor and then upscales the result to *imitate* the field of view of different prime lenses. This is digital zoom no matter how you slice it, and it absolutely does not produce the same detail resolving power at each setting. You can't get more from less. There's another video on here that unequivocally demonstrates this, and I recommend checking it out. For folks who can't tell the difference (or just don't care) between cropping and upscaling in camera versus doing it in post, you're probably safe to just use the phony "lense" presets Apple provides. But if you want to preserve every pixel from the entire sensor, I would turn those extra detents off and just shoot prime, then crop and resize in post, where you can do it non-destructively. You'll get better scaled results, but you'll preserve the option to change the crop later if you do it that way. Keep up the good work!

Hey brother. Long time sub for you. Honestly, 16 pro max feels sluggish compared to the 15 pro max. iPhone 16 pro max lags a lot. The screen is unresponsive as well. Keyboard latency. I am returning it and staying with my 15 pro max. I received the 16 pro max a few days ago from my original preorder, and man,it's so disappointing. Normally, iPhones come out flawless right out of the box, with bo issues. Every now and then, you have a few hiccups that get resolved over a software update. This year, a conplete disaster. The "camera control" is useless, pretty much a gimmick. In compariing the 15 pro max and 16 pro max, my 15 pm is far more responsive and super smooth, where the 16 pro max fewls like an outdated android phone. So sad. But honestly, thinking of returning it and getting the Galaxy S24 Ultra Apple pretty much sold us an unfinished product 😡 At first i thought itvwas just mine, but there are forums out there with lots of consumers having the same issue.
