About the hyperpigmentation...sooooo threading doesn't remove hyperpigmentation BUT it does remove the darkness caused by the hair follicles. So my upper lips look alot lighter and blended with the rest of my face as the darkness from hair follicles gets removed. So for those coming at her saying threading doesn't remove hyperpigmentation yes you're correct but she isn't entirely wrong either. Just wanted to mention that ✨️
@mypawfectfamily2 жыл бұрын
Also, threading is a form of exfoliation which can reduce hyperpigmentation! Also, more than the darkness caused by the hair, there’s like an underlying darkness from the root of the hair, which threading also can remove :$

have been wanting to start threading, but I have acne :( Not sure if you have had acne before and threaded. If so, how did that go for you? Also, I read your animal update! You should definitely transform this channel into yours if you would like! Your super nice and you have so much potential! You can do a variety of content and give animal updates!
@mypawfectfamily2 жыл бұрын
this is such a good question and I feel like it needs an entire video to address it!! But in short, I had acne when I started threading, not cystic acne, but the little bumps. I am super hairy and had super oily skin, so I think that contributed in part to my acne. You can definitely thread when you have acne, but you have to be careful to not go over active acne and inflammation cuz then you can spread bacteria:) so basically, I would thread over any healed acne and pimples, and if I had anything that was like very active breakout and inflamed, I’d just avoid thag stea
@mypawfectfamily2 жыл бұрын
Also!! I always feel the need to remind people I’m 21, so not s teenager anymore. I see so many women in their 20s and even 30s talking about how they god rid of their acne. And I would be so sad because their skin was so clear and i didn’t understand what I was doing wrong But reality is, after a certain age (with the one exception. Of adult acne), most people just stop getting acne :)

I get my face threaded sometimes but everytime my skin breaks out.. I get pimples everywhere even though I clean my face and moisturise afterwards and everything. Do you know how to avoid that or is threading simply not for everyone?
@mypawfectfamily2 жыл бұрын
What type of moisturizers are you using? Have you tried changing the brand of thread? I mean threading is no chemicals, just removing the hair, so it really is for everyone:)
@caileyalana5327 Жыл бұрын
I found that oil based moisturisers always used to make my acne a LOT worse, if you are using an oil based moisturiser whilst also having acne and if you have oil prone skin, please consider using an alternative based moisturiser (one that isn't oil based)

@@tanyawieczorek6603 it's the best skincare ingredient I've come across. It's so gentle and brown 🟤 skin friendly for cell turnover and exfoliation. It gets the job done for acne too. I use it weekly once and it's extracted from Mulberry in dr. Sheths skin formula. It's best for skin of color as glycolic makes me duller looking
