I think what i really love about Asta is that despite the recipe for him being a “Chosen One” being there, its subverted in ways that just highlights his strengths. He was born without magic because of his mom having a conditioning that siphoned magic away from others, which wasn’t a cool superpower; it was a curse that left him orphaned and estranged from his adopted brother. Asta’s one of the most physically powerful characters in the series, but its the result of him working day after day to fight against the doubts placed on him by the entire world that he knows. Asta’s greatest qualities are his perseverance and his understanding of the world, and I’m glad that that hasn’t changed after so long.

I always liked Asta's attitude and drive towards his journey plus how he deals with assholes or villains like with Noelles siblings throughout the story also Swolsta is already a King plus thumbnail too nutty

Asta takes responsibility for his actions, and that’s probably one of the reasons why people put him off. They want MC who either talk their out of trouble or just blindly fight and not think about it. Asta isn’t that. Asta will listen to your side, but also understands that actions have consequences. Asta also admits that he isn’t the smartest person, and admits that he understand that his actions speak louder than words. Asta is brilliantly written. It’s just he’s not written to punch things and ask later like Goku. Which if that’s your thing. Then enjoy it. Black Clover greatly establishes that actions have consequences. And I think that’s a very important point people seem to overlook with it. I honestly think that people go into Black Clover thinking it’s Dragon Ball z with wizards with a splash of Naruto. And when they find out it actually has some political significance in the story, they hate it because they want flashy.

Bruh you were speed-talking like Eminem in this vid are you good lol? Also Asta's a character that really did grow on me as I watched Black clover. At first he was annoying which caused me to drop the series for months but as soon as I got back into it, I was really digging his character and now he's one of my favourites (whenever he yells his point across to whoever he's fighting is always amazing to me imo) Also, Black clover really did have some mid animation and art during the middle part of the show can't lie Also, Berserk fans might come for you (I might actually read Berserk since it's actually returning)

I think the goal of changing the way people in the kingdom and how to be agood king that can lead his people is gonna get explored in the latest arc in ch 332 when asta confess to sister lily and she rejected he didn't keep doing again like we seening him before and he say i can't change how people are and this goes really well with how losius think that he want rebuild the humanity to change all the noble and poor people thinge and make them equal.

Asta screaming " I will become wizard king " in every episode is really annoying and in a fight he really don't know why he is fighting, he will be like "i don't know who you are, you look like a bad guy, i am gonna beat you". The author tried to copy a character like luffy and gon but it didn't work out. In my opinion yuno is a better MC.

i dont really like asta that much, i mean he okay and i like how he helps alot of people around him and wants to help his own country but i dont see him as a great protagonist, he just okay at best protagonist just like tanjiro and the manga make the stakes and fights more meaningless for most of the characters and story. I think he just a C+ protagonist but he aint bad he just aint that impressive…

@@Kreamsy i understand too its just i dont really see why he better than Itadori and Deku because when i read the manga for all three of them, Asta is the weakest out of the 3 and I understand about the layers of asta too and him being hard working but idk he just aint it maybe i call him cliche but i know some people and even bc fans said i am a elitist that i always said that like black clover and ds is generic which i know they are generic because they are shonen and its not a bad thing to be inspired to other shonens like JJK did have a great inspiration of Bleach. but i do kinda like black clover and it’s entertaining but in the manga its just ruins the series for me.
