True, but if that were consistent with his birth date (that was probably established after the anime ended) then they would be celebrating his 10th birthday, not the 11th, the anime staff didin't know Gohan hadn't reached his birthday yet and simply asumed he was 10 already because of the year, and that he has been 10 for at least a couple of months by the time the Androids attack (due to him exiting the chamber early still making him 11 when he comes out accordin to the filler). So it's just a case of the anime not knowing about stuff that would be established later.

@@isaultra3405 Both true and untrue. Goku started training just as young, having been raised by G.Gohan, but after G.Gohan's death his training stopped until he met Muten Roshi. Still, Gohan and Goten do still have the advantage of more talented masters, though if i recall correctly Goten first revealed he could go Super Saiyan during a sparring match with Chi-Chi, and i dont believe its stated if he had trained with Gohan at all by that point. Either way, Goten was conceived after Goku had first become a Super Saiyan and mastered it to a degree, meaning he had a larger S-Cell count to pass on to Goten. So not only do Human-Saiyan hybrids have greater latent potential, but Goten in specific was predisposed to achieve Super Saiyan due to the higher S-Cell count he likely inherited. Trunks on the other had doesnt have the S-Cell inheritance to justify how he achieved the form so early, since he was conceived before Vegeta first went Super Saiyan. Still, Kid Trunks did spend plenty of time in the gravity chamber with Vegeta trying to spend time with his dad, so i suppose that could justify how he achieved the form so much earlier than his future counterpart.

The half breed saiyans took advantage from superior knowledge of their family and teachers. Kid Goku "wasted" his early years before Roshi training because nobody told him about his saiyan potential and heard about Super Saiyan first time when he was adult. Goku had to find out how everything functions, which makes him a hard working genius.

Vegeta clearly didn’t train with Trunks because not only didn’t he even know he was a SSJ, he was completely ignoring him in the gravity chamber before he transformed and essentially told him to go away. And nobody except Chi Chi taught Goten until he started training for the TB in which he was already a SSJ. Goten and Trunks just sparred together before the TB and that was it. Also, I don’t think anyone on earth is a better teacher than Roshi. All Korin did was outspeed Goku and all Kami did was let Popo teach Goku how to fight with a clear mind. Roshi clearly taught him the most talented martial arts and teaching wise, the subsequent teachers just happened to be stronger.

Bro, this is literally WRONG 😂😂 Gohans birthday is May 18th. The Cell Games took place on May 26th. They didn’t show it in the manga and I don’t take TOEI filler into account but Gohan 100% had his 11th birthday in the gap from him exiting the RoSaT and the Cell Games. This is one thing TOEI actually got right. The part people seem to miss out when discussing his age is the extra time Goku was away. They say he was only away a year when he was away for 260 days before the Namekians went to new Namek and THEN an entire year which is what’s stated directly in the manga. So we have: - Raditz arrives - 4 years old - The Saiyans arrive and he travels to Namek (11 months and then 1 month so a full year) - age 5 - Post Namek before Goku gets back (260 days plus another year) - 6 3/4 - The android skip (another 3 years) - 9 3/4 - RoSaT (approximately 320 days from the math of 3 hours early) - 10.6 years old is the easiest way to put it So the fact that Gohans birthday was before the Cell Games means he must have been around 4.4 years old ag the start of Z.

If the manga is being made at the same time, maybe there isnt enough content for a chapter or they need to drag it on long enough to give time for the manga to be produced. If you dont make filler, you may end up having to make something on the fly, which is how you end with an Anime and Manga having very different stories altogether if you aint careful with it

What about Goten's age? Don't babies take 9 months to grow in the mother's womb? And Goku got Chichi pregnant shortly before the Cell Games. So wouldn't Goten be born around February or March of Age 768, and therefore 6 instead of 7 by the Buu Saga?
