He can't he's either incompetent or lying. The vibe I get from many of these ex met police detectives in the media is that they are slippery characters I would not even trust to buy a second hand car from. Never mind solve a murder with potential international political ramifications.

@@JoeFarrell-e3f he talks about the gun barrel having zero integrity, the barrel leaves a distinct marking on a projectile. The breech mechanism also leaves distinct markings on the cartridge case, these markings are produced by the breech face itself , the firing pin,exactor, and ejector. Yet the bullet has nothing to indicate such a ideology. Perhaps the only distinction they got right, was the lack of a suppression device. But without the weapon itself, it's not tangible evidence. I believe they are conceptualising. Because of the perforation holes around the circumference of the projectile.
