I really love watching you and Satoshi. You always make me smile. I need to be able to laugh and smile. My husband of 26 years suddenly died on Sunday. I feel so lost and alone. I am trying to distract myself from the pain. All your channel are just so heart warming. Much love. 💜

The reason for 551 being in selective cities is that all their stores have to be within a certain distance since their basic ingredients for the (example: dough, meat mixtures for their buns) are prepared centrally and delivered to the local stores for final assembly. This guarantees their freshness. Thanks for your videos as always, you always make me hungry and crave for Japanese food.

I had that in Kyoto Station. This woman stopped me on the street when she saw my bag and asked where I got it haha… and no one ever talks to me on the street in Japan. The pork buns are the bomb.

I love the way how you describe the textures of the food and if it's dry or moist and then the flavours for those of us who either never tried or would like to try and what to expect from Japanese foods . Which I think is fantastic where ever you live around the world and you want to try Japanese food for the first time . Your channels has taught me so much Shinichi and made my love for Japan more meaningful. ❤ And you share the location perfect for beginners , great for business and Japan. Love it .I have to agree Pork buns look so delicious if I was to visit Osaka that's a go to for me . 🧡👍Thanks Shinichi.

Shinichi, as a fellow kama'aina, this is giving me Manapua Man vibes. I used to live in Osaka for two years, but now I'm across the bay on Shikoku. Love the shumai there, and those meatballs are addictive. The only problem is that when I take them back on the bus or ferry, the smell fills the whole cabin, and everyone is looking around wondering what smells so good. Looking forward to getting some when I finally visit Kansai during the New Year (first time since the pandemic started). Mahalo for the Ono video!

Our local Chinese restaurant has the best Shumai...it’s pork & onions with a shrimp 🍤 curled up on the bottom. I’ve never tasted anything so good as pork, shrimp & onions together in one small dumpling. 🤤💕 We don’t eat them with the mustard, tho that is always available at the restaurant. We like the sauce they make in-house, it’s a sweet soy sauce type of dipping sauce w/a bit of red pepper flakes.... and hits all the right notes with the dumplings. You get the salty, sweet, savory, a little heat and umami. Delicious! 😋😊

@Shinichi's World I said again today that my mother liked how much you enjoyed your meal. Let me put it this way, "My mother is very Old Fashioned" She was always a housewife. She loved to cook for the others. (When she still could.) She always cooked for me and my brother as if she were preparing food for a soccer team. And she still loves it when she sees how people like their food.

I had such a warm feeling when you pointed out the theater. It makes me happy when historic architecture is preserved and repurposed. And I giggled when the fork came into frame! It looked so out of place and caught me by surprise. 😂 Better than nothing, eh? 🤪 Hope you are feeling well. Would love some night views.

Those curves on the roof sections of that Kabuki theatre remind me of Himeji Castle, the ones that were created to represent the grace of white herons taking flight. Eating at a restaurant is different, it has a different vibe. Well, overall your videos are good. Keep it up and thank you for sharing it with us
