okay this kinda has me thinking now Maybe the Best Moms ARE the mothers to the Happy Children. The creatures are all the same, evidently, and they're from the same company. Maybe they're the "offspring" or some branch on the Happy Child family tree that's just stronger and more assimilated, which (like in my last comment) is why the commercial for Best Moms are begging people to "buy more", that the public already has the mothers alongside the children and we just don't know it. Like it said, they can be teachers and chefs, so maybe they were already here with the Sunshine Daycare? With the weird food choices and curriculum, I'd have to say so

Makes me think those people that make homemade weird guns. The spaghetti monsters gonna get hit with a stronger warhammer tier fuckery someone made in their garage that just screams 'geneva convention need not apply'. It'd be funny if some places just get cleaned up because there's reasons why we dont make fucked up weapons, when the reasons go away you get flare guns with sharpened stones acting as a short range railgun.

I get frustrated when people cover a series by simple watching the whole thing. Thank you so much for your work! *Subbed* My only minor issue is your background audio gets a fair bit louder than your voice at times and it seems like when you stop talking your mic goes completely silent without room audio can make it a little feel very stop and start when you have a break in you speaking. My suspension of disbelief was broken so many times, I don't have as many kind adjectives about this analog horror as you do suomy - Another analog horror with a company that magically does all these different products and services because they just can - Who for a second can believe that the magic evil company used poorly made slide shows to sell their products? Did the creator not search 90s commercials and see that they are not remotely like that? - pharmeceuticals have huge hoops to jump through before being released into the public, even in the 90s. "But corruption!" the series didn't even establish HOW the magic evil company could do all this, so coming up with explanations is just fan canon - the moon team were apparently on the moon for... 4 years? And this was the order by NASA? How exactly did they have enough oxygen and food and literally everything? - The names of the astronauts wouldn't be omitted, or even if they were, they would previously have been public record since NASA is a public department - There's lots of stuff just not touched again in any substantial way, from the "she" and the stairs, to the portal to where and why, to the plane and the arm of something, to the narrative leaping from evil products to invasion then just complete evil victory. Just leap after leap and the audience is expected to either understand it, or just not question it. Suspension of Disbelief - this is the word for this video. I pulled apart books like House of Leaves back in 2005, well before the suffocating pile of video essays about it. So I like doing a little bit of legwork for stories. But here, there's no legwork to do or dots to connect. It just doesn't carry the audience's suspension of disbelief, it's just one random thing then another random thing.

You did a great job explaining the series. I have problems with the series itself though lol. These AH tropes are getting tired. They don’t have the scare factor they used to anymore and it’s getting boring seeing another series leaning on TTS voice overs, long face/body = scary, and distorted old-timey music. Also, @ 34:15 the logo for ICAO is straight up wrong lol. They used the logo for the United Nations and not ICAO. Anyway, again, you did great in your video and I hope to see more of your content in the future
